8. Dance Competition

Lee Areum's Pov

Our lips crash into each other as we fall together on the mattress. Our eyes grew wide in shock. I quickly pull my head up away from his pink lips, with his wide eyes remain pierce through mine.

It was as if time has just stopped. I couldn't focus anything but the awkward position we were in; his arms were wrapping around my waist while my hands were resting against his chest. I could feel his heart thumping rapidly against his chest while my cheeks were obviously growing beet red in embarrassment as we continued to stare at each other face in silence.

Staring his face this close, made me realize how handsome he was. Every feature on his face was perfect. Without realizing, I was already mesmerized by his looks.

"What are you guys doing?" Jimin suddenly spoke, breaking the silence and bringing us back to reality while I could hear footsteps heading towards us.

Our eyes immediately widen in surprised, realizing Jimin and Jungkook are here. I quickly push my body away from his before frantically moving my body to the other end of the mattress, further away from him. Both of us were now lying on each end of the mattress while looking up the sky, feeling flustered.

"O-oh! Y-You guys are back?" Taehyung stuttered awkwardly with his head resting on his left arm while he gaze at the bright stars.

"We were just looking at the sky." Taehyung nervously say while pointing at the sky with his other hand before diverting his gaze from the stars to Jimin and Jungkook who are now looking at us questionably.

"Y-Yeah! There are so many stars!" I added. An awkward chuckle escape from my mouth as I point at the sky, hopping that they will believe what we said.

"Stars?" Jungkook blurted in confusion as he looked at the sky with his eyebrows furrowed.

The sky was full of clouds, covering most of the bright stars.

"Hmm... The atmosphere is kind of weird. You guys are all blushing." Jimin pointed out in suspicion as he looked at us with a teasing smirk plastered on his face.

"W-What do you mean wierd? Nothing weird is going on." Taehyung said.

That's when Jungkook finally catch what Jimin said.

"Ohh~ Did something happen when we were gone?" Jungkook teased as he looked at us with a mischievous smile.

"No! I told you nothing happen!" I abruptly sit up straight and raised my voice, causing Jimin and Jungkook to startled at my sudden outburst.

Daggers were shooting from my gaze however it didn't wipe the smile off from their face instead they were smiling even more brightly.

"Are you guys hiding something from us?" Jimin smirked as he fold his arms across his chest.

"NO WE ARE NOT!" Taehyung and I immediately exclaimed in unison which caused Jimin to smirk in satisfaction.

Ohh how I wish I could wipe that smirk off his face!

"Is there any chance that while we were not here, did you guys..." Jungkook trailed with his gaze pierce through my nervous gaze. His index finger tapping his lips as he ponder the words to say.

Did he perhaps saw the incident?!

Omg, if he did they will surely tease me...

Tons of thoughts were running through my mind as my heart start to beat rapidly. I nervously bit my lips and grabbed the navy blue sheet while I wait for Jungkook to continue his statement.
