Chapter 8: Chapolis

I went over to the Warehouse Keeper because I really need a new sword right now so I got out my best weapon that I always use for sieges like this one. The sword is called Massacre and it really helps me a lot with sieges especially the last one that I had a few months ago. “Are you coming with me or are you going to disappear like you have for the last four and a half years?” I asked Dante since he was busy changing clothes. He came out from the changing rooms in his white robes and answered, “Of course either wise I wouldn’t of gotten changed.”
He teleported us to Chapolis where the siege was, and there was a lot of Templar Guards at the entrance. One of the guards said, “You can’t enter unless you have a good enough reason why I should let you in!” so I told him a good enough explanation and he let us in. There was 20 floors and the siege was at the 9th - 10th floor in the main tower so Dante and I took the stairs because the elevator was in an emergency shutdown.
It took a long time getting up the stairs because there was too many broken stairs so we had to jump over 2 stairs at a time which was bad. I kept on slipping and almost falling on the broken stairs, eventually we made it to the 9th floor and there was a lot of goblin tribes on the floor. I threw some debris and they all looked at me and all of them ran away to the upper floors, Dante followed them while I made a hole on top of me where the 10th floor is.
The part where the hole was came down with a few ghouls and imps. The fiends looked at me and attacked, I reacted and slayed them all with a swift movement of my sword and cut all of their heads. I ran towards the stairs and caught up with Dante on the 19th floor, there was absolutely no monsters on the floor except for one person.
He said “So you came? Too bad, you’re too late. Everyone is already dead, my master killed them all, see for yourself. Actually, if you want to see my master,” and he pulled his face off and the whole body fell off, then he said in a distorted voice, “you have to verse me, Bahamut, before you can see my master, and if you win I can be one of your summons, Dante.” (Bahamut is a aeon that has two black-red-blue wings, golden chest and purple body. It has golden claws and a floating golden ring on its back). I asked, “How do you know who he is?” And he reacted with a flap of his wings and flew through the window
Dante and I saw one of the strongest aeons ever because his overdrive move (special move) is called Mega Flare and it literally kills pretty much the strongest boss ever. I asked Dante, “Do you know him, Dante?” and he answered, “While you were catching up with me, I met with, as you now know, Bahumat. His master is called Xi, and he also has two more aeons. His first aeon is Anima and his secondary aeon is Ifrit, and yes, I fought all three of them at once then remembered that if I have to fight Xi again, then this time you will help me. No matter what, OK?” I nodded in awareness because I knew what we were getting each other into.
