Chapter 35: Blast from the past.

The next morning Sans was up and was focusing on some very dark thoughts. He sat alone with a steaming cup of coffee nearby. Frisk had gotten up and came into the kitchen finding Sans a bit distraught. "What's troubling you my dear, is it those thoughts again?" He shot up looking at her shocked. "How did you know about that...I never told you about that and the fact that you know has me worried." Frisk jumped back startled. "Sans calm down, please keep your voice down too, you'll wake Cooper and Papyrus and Mettaton, I just didn't feel you in bed and I kinda snooped on a conversation with you and Papy." He groaned and sat back down. "I'm sorry honey I am just so flustered and confused why they're coming back. I'm happy finally..." She sat beside him and she rubbed his back. "Is there something you want to talk about..?" He sighed and nodded. "Maybe talking about my past, before we met....will make these thoughts go away." She kissed his neck and held him a bit. "It was a long and chaotic time for me...It was around when I was 6 years old...or so...I don't remember that time very well...." He took the cup of coffee and sipped at it for a little bit and continued to speak. "Papyrus was about 4 or 3 at the time and I was having to take care of him since my mother died and my father went missing in a lab accident. It was a big explosion...He was working with something called the C.O.R.E". Frisk looked at him a bit shocked. "I thought he died or something not gone missing, you seemed to make it look that way when you first told me..." Frisk said as she took his hand. He looked at her and he gave her a kiss. "trust me on that I had no intention of telling you about this...I wasn't expecting these haunting thoughts and or nightmares to come back..." She sighed and sat there waiting for him to continue. "Forgive me for that, but now everything is coming out." She smiled slightly and she rubbed his back with her free hand. "That's a good thing, we shouldn't hide anything from each other...I didn't hide anything from you when we first met." He sighed. "True you didn't.. and I am sorry I took so long to tell you..." She kissed his cheek. "Please continue honey, things must come out..." He nodded and cleared his throat. "It was a rather colder day then normal, I sat with Paps on the couch, I was feeling like shit since my dad was gone, I never met my mother and neither did Paps, I was too young to know her when she died. I didn't have much of a child hood. I had to grow up instantly when my dad went missing." He sipped the coffee and poured a little sugar in it and stirred it up. "My dad never gave me the talk either so sex was something interesting as I aged..." She giggled. "Must of been weird to have your first boner huh?" He nodded "Weird is an understatement.." He looked at her then to the coffee. "But moving onto the day before we met. I was out in the snow looking for a place where I could cut my life short and my dust wouldn't be found." She gasped and covered her mouth. "I was planning to kill myself the day we met...but I guess you could say you were the angel that fell from heaven and saved my life...." She smiled and nuzzled him. "I was walking to this cave when I came upon you walking across the bridge. So I teleported behind you and that's how we met. Later that night since I had you with me I still was planning to kill myself....that is once I had you safe... Since you had no intention of hurting me or my brother....He was really happy to finally of met a human once we started to get close." She nodded. "I can recall that pretty easily." She smiled. "It was a bit hard though adjusting to things without you around so I had to have you to make things easier.." He chuckled. "I guess your neediness saved my life and our future together..." She giggled. "I guess you can say that my sweet bonehead..." He drank the last of the coffee and cleared his throat. "My dad used to be the royal scientist with king Asgore, they used to be such good friends. " She giggled "I can imagine what your father put my adoptive father through..." He chuckled "My dad was always testing Asgore's patience. It was a key thing that he does and I carry on the tradition with Papyrus and you and perhaps when he is older, Cooper will do the same to you and I, I just hope with nothing that bad.." She laughed a bit and got up making a little breakfast for him. "Do you want to continue this another time honey, I heard Papyrus and Mettaton waking up and I can hear the upstairs second master bedroom shower running. "Sure honey...I'll take you out to the starlight caves some night and we'll talk about this stuff till we're blue in the face....No pun intended there..." She giggled and poured him another cup of coffee. "You know I love you right Sansy?" He nodded. "Yes I know you love me and trust me I am eternally grateful for that....I can't thank you or Tori or Asgore enough for this. You three are a blessing." She giggled, "I was looking for a I love you too baby but that works just as fine..." He got up and picked her up whirling her around the kitchen in his arms. "I love you too my queen.....I always will.....Always and forever my dear Frisk..." She blushed and leaned in for a sweet kiss. They shared the kiss for a moment and then parted. "So what's for breakfast my queen, Surprise me..."
