Mona Is Back- Not Completly

She just happens to play the bad guy in this book. Thank you! Also, this book might not be very realistic at time, but nothing to unrealistic happens. Another thing, there are paranormal happenings in this chapter.

Lexi Pov:

       I just got back from the library, as Emily Best of course. Chris is supposed to be home this whole week, so that means he is probably at waffle house with Kierra right about now. He will leave around luchtime, he hangs out there for a while. I cannot wait to get my hands on that little loser, Kierra. She is absolute dead meat. Christopher was mine before he was hers. She was just some obsessed fangirl who would die to be in his presence. Now she was his girlfriend? Thats messed up to me. I know at first I hated him, but that was before I knew him. Now I know we are supposed to be together forever, and Kierra is just flat out in the way. I can fix that. I have to get to them before their relationship moves on any further or else I may just be screwed. I was on my way back to my house, I needed to get my money. I drove past it once, making sure no police were there looking for me. I tuned around when I knew nobody was there and pulled in the driveway. I parked the car behind the house and ran in the backdoor. I grabbed a dark pair of sunglasses and my savings from under my matress. I took Mona's, too. Together, there was 21,000 $, Plus what I already had in the suit case, which was about 30,000 $. That should be enough to live off of till I am back with Chris. I cannot rush into anything to fast, don't want to be identifyed. I have to wait till the search for me dies down a little. I had a plan. I was going to get plastic sugery on my face, become a new person. Say goodbye to Alexis Concord,  Hello Emily Best. Maybe I will be emo, nobody would ever suspect it was me then. Suddenly, the TV clicked on by itself, breaking me from my thoughts. How did that turn out? I got a little frightened.

"Hello?" I frantically called out.

Suddenly, the cupboard whipped open, causing the cupboard door to fly off the hinges. I knew if I screamed someone would hear it and make a police report. That can't happen, so I contained myself. Probably the wind, that dorr has always been loose.

"Leexiii." I heard a whisper all around me.

"Stupid Wind making me hear things." I said out loud, not turning around trying to convince myself that it was just the wind, ghosts don't exsist.

"Leexii, Your revenge is near if you come back here." I heard in a whispy voice that sounded a lot like Mona. I knew by then it was Mona. Mona was dead, but she wasn't gone. I grabbed the suitcase and quickly ran outside of the house, breathing hard. I jumped in my car and caught my breath with my eyes closed. When I could finally breath again, I peeked through the house window, still in my car. Through the blinds I saw a shadow, that looked a lot like Mona. I do believe in ghosts.

Christopher Pov:

        Me and Kierra were driving back to Momma's house. She insisted on listening to my CD "Harmony". She really does like my music apparenatlly. I just wanted to listen to The Beach Boys. That's okay though, I would do anything to make her happy. When she is happy, I'm happy.

"Chris?" She asked me.

"Yes, dear?" I said with a smile.

"Do you think we should go see Lexi in jail when we get back home?" she asked me.

"I don't know Hon, are you ready to see her after all that?" Honestly, I had no desire to see that murderous face that I once loved ever again.

" I just want to see her one time."

"I am not making you not go! Do whatever you want my lady, I will never hold you back." She smiled at me. I don't think I was going to go see her. This will be the first time we are apart since we started dating. It made me sad to think of us not being together.

" I am thinking about it." She said looking out the car window. The song "Love Is Our Weapon" was playing. Kierra was singing along. I loved to hear her sing. She noticed me looking over at her and she blushed. "What?" She said with a giggle. "Nothing!" I spat out, laughing to.

"You are a great singer." I said to her.

"Not as good as Christopher Drew though." She replied.

"I'd say better then Christopher Drew actually." We pulled in the driveway at my momma's.  She opned her car door and got out before I had time to open it for her. We walked in the house to find my mommasitting at the kitchen table eating lunch.

"Hey guys!" she said, getting out of her chair.

"How was it?" "It was delisious."Kierra replied to her.

"That's great. Are you guys still hungry?

"Well is Kierra still hungry that is. Its burgers Chris, Sorry!" Momma said, knowing I am a vegetarian.

"Its fine, I am not hungry anyway."

"Neither am I." Kierra said.

"Oh yes! I forgot to tell you!" Momma said, putting her reading glasses on, pulling a note out of her pocket.

"An Emily Best caleed and wanted to know if you were home. She said she was an old friend of yours."

"I don't know an Emily Best.... Do You?" I asked Kierra.

"No!" She said.

"What did you tell her?" I asked Momma.

"I told her you were home."

Great. "Nope we do not know an Emily Best, so that means a random gorl is coming here for no apparent reason."

"I think we should go now Momma." I said. Who knows, could be a murder!"

"We have to go now, but remember, do not answer the door." I told her as I kissed her forehead.

"Love you Momma, I'll call ya when I get home." I said as Kierra and I walked out the door and into my car.

"Well this sucks." Kierra said.

"I agree my lady."
