Jungkook just finished his make-up for the Award stage that will start in few hours again. He walks away from the make-up area and takes a seat on the couch with Hoseok.
Hoseok is looking at a photo in his phone, "Is that a TWICE's member?" Jungkook points to the screen.
"Fuck, Jungkook! Since when are you in here?!" Hoseok snaps in a panic tone, hiding his phone immediately.
Jungkook just chuckles slightly, "Don't worry, hyung. I won't tell anyone." he whispers playfully to him.
Hoseok rolls his eyes, playing his with phone again. And suddenly, it makes Jungkook starts to wonder, there's no doubt other male idols are checking out female idols photos like Hoseok did. So, out there, maybe there's another male idol who is checking out Chaeyoung, his girlfriend.
Jungkook sighs slowly, just thinking about it makes him drown in jealousy. What if he sees it with his own eyes?
"Hey, Kook. If I start to date her, what do you think?" Hoseok nudges at Jungkook slightly as the maknae stares at him now.
"Who?"
"That TWICE's member~" Hoseok whispers to him as Jungkook nods his head.
"Did you meet her or talk to her before?" Jungkook asks him, getting curious about it.
Hoseok lets out a small sigh, "All I did is admiring her from a far..." Hoseok shakes his head slightly, looking down at his lap with a sad smile, "No chance for me, right?"
"Ah, no, hyung. There's still a hope, I was never talking to her as well before but now look, she's mine now." Jungkook tells Hoseok, not realizing he just spilled the beans.
Hoseok sighs deeply once again before he senses something strange, "Wait up! Who's yours?"
"What?" Jungkook asks back.
"You said you were never talking to her before but now she's mine. Who is she, Jungkook?" Hoseok lifts an eyebrow.
Jungkook widens his eyes, realizing about it just now. He gulps down his nervousness as Hoseok closes his mouth and in shock, "Shit, you're dating someone!"
"H-hyung, that's not i-it..."
Hoseok shakes his head, "No. First is Seokjin hyung and now you! Namjoon won't be happy I guess..."
"I'm not dating anyone, hyung. I swear!" Jungkook acts up quickly.
"Then, what did you mean by 'mine'? I heard you clearly, Jeon Jungkook. Admit it now." Hoseok plays detective at Jungkook.
"It was a slip of tongue..."
"That's strange for only a slip of tongue. You can fool me, maknae. I won the online quizzes in my middle school three times." Hoseok nudges at him.
"Online quiz wasn't exist when you were in middle school, hyung." Jungkook laughs it off, trying to change the topic.
"Hey, don't chan-"
"BTS is up in ten minutes!" the staff from the award ceremonial warns the BTS crew.
Hoseok stands up quickly, approaching the other members as Jungkook sighs in delight. "That was close..." he mumbles to himself.
Seconds later, he joins them to the backstage of the award show. There are some groups as well, lining up because they will do a performance after BTS.
Jungkook spots BLACKPINK girls there, but... Minus Chaeyoung. Where's she? He tries to look around him, wanting to find her but he can't find her.
Out of sudden, Taehyung comes beside him. He nudges Jungkook with his elbow, pointing toward something sneakily. "Look! I was right." Taehyung whispers at him.
"What?" Jungkook asks Taehyung.
"Vernon-ssi is Rosé's boyfriend." Taehyung turns Jungkook to look at the certain direction there.
Jungkook lands his eyes and he looks at the sight of Chaeyoung and Vernon from Seventeen at the corner of the room, laughing together.
"They look so cute!" Taehyung squeals suddenly, admiring the sight while Jungkook is getting jealous at the sight.
"What she's doing?" he grits his teeth slightly.
Taehyung looks at Jungkook, "What?"
Jungkook looks away, "Please, tell Namjoon hyung, I need to calm myself." and the maknae walks away from there.
"Jungkook! We need to perform!" Taehyung shouts at the maknae, getting attentions from the idols around them, including Chaeyoung and Vernon.
"What's wrong there?" Vernon asks softly.
Chaeyoung stares at Jungkook's back before she shakes her head slowly, "I don't know." she answers him before she gives him a small smile.
"Let's practicing again."
