Future Card Buddyfight!! x reader [DROPPED]

Destiny Led Us Here [ Gaito ]

   "Abygale, let's go," Gaito glanced back at his precious buddy and said. Abygale nodded, and bounced off towards Gaito.

   "Hey there!" They heard a boy exclaim. It was Kanata. He was there with his buddy, Gao, Batzz, Chibi Panda, Tasuku, Jack, Ku, her buddy, Kiri, his buddy, Noboru, Kuguru, Baku and YN.

   Gaito was shocked. Shocked to see that fate had brought YN and him back together again. They were childhood friends (the first few years of elementary school) but YN had to move out and changed schools.

   "G-Gaito..... Is that really you?" Gaito heard a familiar yet unfamiliar voice mumble. He looked up to see YN looking at him cautiously. It was surely her, right? "Who's that?"

   YN looked up at Kanata, who asked the question. He was pointing directly at her. Her mouth dropped. Gaito could tell YN was willing to introduce herself by herself, but she stayed true to her nature (the nature that Gaito knew) and kept silent.

   "Oh, that's LN YN!" Gao said with a grin on his face. "She'll be joining us for today," Kuguru continued with a gentle smile. "Heh, ten humans, twenty humans, thirty humans... Won't make a difference to me!!" Batzz roared.

   "Okay... W-where are we gonna g-go? Another B-Buddyfight adventure?" YN murmured, wishing nobody had heard her. But everyone did. Everyone looked at her a bit confused and she shook her head and excused herself to the toilet.

   Gaito also excused himself to the toilet and waited outside the girls' bathroom. Finally, he saw YN walk out glancing onto the floor. "Is that really you, YN?" She looked up at him and mumbled, "Good to see you again, Gaito-kun."

   Gaito's face turned red and his ears were hot. He was completely speechless. He was shocked that YN had actually remembered him. It was not that YN was a forgetful person, but YN always forgot names, birthdays and everything important! (If you're not like that pls pretend u are)

   "YN... Why did you leave...?" Gaito asked YN. "We... I mean-I changed my house. That's why," she replied, mumbling on her words. Gaito looked away and told her that truth; he had missed her so much.

   "It was destiny that pulled us here together again. Without it, our paths would never have crossed again," Gaito said on impulse while getting redder and redder on each word.

   YN took his hand and placed it on her cheek. "I miss you. When I heard you took part in World Buddy Masters and got into semifinals, I knew someone had awakened something in you. A new light. A new destiny," she mustered the courage to hug him, and she did while crying.

   "H-hey stop, YN. Of course... I miss you so much. Are you transfering back to Aibo Academy?" Gaito looked at her. YN shook her head. She was obviously upset. "I'm not sure."

   Gaito took hold of YN's hand and walked towards the group. He let go and nodded to Gao, informing him that they were ready.

   YN stucked close to Gaito and Abygale, Gaito specifically, and kept painfully quiet for even Gaito to handle. Kanata on the other hand, kept on asking questions about the HC haired female.

   Everyone was painfully annoying to Gaito, some way or another, including being super silent, like YN. "Gaito. Gaito. Gaito!" "A-Abygale? Sorry, what is it?"

   "You've been acting weird since you went to the toilet, Gaito," Abygale said, looking at Gaito with a questioning look on his face.

    Gaito kept awfully silent. "I talked to YN." Abygale nodded and asked again, "You seem close to her." Gaito nodded solemnly and told him the story of him and YN.

The story went:

   "When we were seven and eight years old, we were secluded from the rest of the class. We stood out, but not in a good way. We were quiet while everyone talked and talked. I decided to approach her, so we can have at least someone to talk to."

   "I asked her if she wanted to eat lunch with me and she just shrugged. Later, I went off to lunch and she was with me awhile later. We started hanging with each other more often and we became friends. It was a silent friendship."

   "I wanted to speak to her for once, properly, and asked her, "Do you want to be friends with me?" She looked at me confused and said that she thought that we were already friends and that I didn't need to ask her if we wanted to be friends."

   "So... Up till third grade, I started conversations with her. Until she told me, "I-I'm very sorry to say this b-but, Gaito-kun... Can you promise not to forget me?" I was very shocked at her statement and for a split second, I just wanted to sulk and cry."

   "Of course, I understood what she meant. She then continued, "If destiny is good to us, we will definitely see each other again. So, let us believe in our destinies and forge a new path for our future, for us to carve and see each other at least one more time! Gaito, belive in your destiny!" That was when I started saying destiny every time. Thanks to YN for that."

End of story

   When YN heard Gaito telling Abygale the story, she felt overwhelmingly touched. She wanted to tell him how she felt about him before she left, before she told him to forge a new future for himself. She knew, destiny brought them together.

   "Gaito-kun... I'll be brave for my destiny and say this in front of everyone..... I... I really like you... You stayed true to what I told you... 'Believe in your destiny... Forge a new path for the future... Just to see each other again.'"

   Gaito was speechless. As he was about to respond... "I have begged my parents to let me stay here for a long time now.... I wanted to be here... And once they allow me, which looks like they would, I would be able to stay true to my destiny... Being with you."

   Gaito hugged YN and murmured, "Yes, we have followed our true destinies. Now, we would be able to carve our futures together."

   Their bond is unbreakable. It is a law by destiny.

   I enjoyed writing this story cuz it was supposed to be a shorter story (stopped at the toilet cuz why not) but I continued it anyway.
