Chapter 7

OK, guys... Here's the update. I hope you like it.

The last thing I remember was being in my bike and then the next minute, it was all black.

Adrian's P.O.V
I still can't believe Emily would just sell me out Like that. I'm just happy that I made a deal with the boss to set me free.

I'm currently on my couch relaxing with a bottle of bear in my hand.

Ring, ring, ring

I stretch out to get my phone from the table and pick it up.

"Hello?" Said Adrian

"Hello.  I talking to Mr Parker?" Said the other voice

"Yes". Confirmed Adrian

"I'm calling from Sunrise Hospital. You were the last contact on our current patient's call log. Her Name is Emily"

I couldn't believe my ears. Emily was in the hospital??????
Impossible!!!!

" I'm on my way!" Adrian aggressively answered.

I got on my bike and drove like the was no tomorrow.

When i arrived. I rushed to the reception.

"Hello miss I'm looking for Emily"

"OK Emily......... Here she is. Fourth floor third room on your left"

Without another second I ran to the fourth floor. It was designated there was not a single person. Well except for the doctors and the nurses passing by.

I stopped the first nurse I spotted

"Sorry. Do you have any information on Emily?
What time did she come in?
Is she OK?
Is the wound severe?
When will she be done?
What happened to her?"

"Sir, please come down she's undergoing surgery. I'm unauthorized to give you any information. Please take a seat. The doctor will be out shortly" She calmly said

Are they trained to be this calm or something???? Coz  I'm about to explode.

I take a seat and as I'm waiting I decide I should contact her parents
I have her dad's number

Ring. Ring, Ring

"Hello?" A deep voice answers

"Hello sir. This is Adrian" I answer

"Oh. Adrian, is everything OK?" He asks

" No sir. Its Emily. She got into an accident earlier today and they called me. I thought I should call to inform you. She's currently undergoing surgery " I nervously said

" I'll be there in a minute! "

He wasn't joking. He really did arrived in less than five minutes.

He came with Emily's mum. Her eyes were red and puffy.

Poor woman. This all my fault

"Adrian. Have they updated you on anything?" She asked with a shaky voice. Like tears were fighting to run down her face.

"No ma'am. They haven't"

"No need to call me ma'am Adrian. Come, let's sit and wait for the doctor"

We waited and waited. Its been two hours but it feels like its been a day. I'm so anxious. I hope she's OK because if she isn't. I won't be able to live with myself.

A tall man, wearing a white coat  came out and looked around

"Family of Emi-"

Without him finishing his sentence, we all ran to him

"Yes doctor. That's us. How is she?" Emily's mum asked

She had a minor wound on her tummy. But we've managed to treat it and stitch it. She's currently uncontious

I felt a large burden lifted if my shoulder.

But your welcome to see her. Just take turns

Her parents went first they were in for about ten minutes.

When they came out they said a quick bye and went home to rest.

As I walked into the room my heart was beating so fast I thought there was  a marathon in there.

She was on the bed. Lying so peacefully. Her silky black hair on the side of her face, her beautiful eyes closed which made me notice her dark long eyelashes which highlighted
her smooth caramel glowing skin not to forget her red red cherry lips that intised me

I took a few steps forward and took a seat next to her bed.

I sat there for a few minutes admiring her beauty.

"Emily, I don't know if you can hear me but I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for this to happen. I know its my fault. But I have a confession to make. Aliya, she isn't really my girlfriend it was planned by the boss. I was using her to get information from the other side and I succeeded. I'm sorry for all the pain I've caused you for the past weeks."

With those few words said, I found myself crying like a baby

Emily's P.O.V

I could hear him,  I heard him clearly. It hurt me to hear him so vaunrable and in so much pain.

I felt his tear drops of my hand.

Adrian's P.O.V

I continued looking at her and then I placed a soft peck on her lips

"Adrian?" She said while looking at me.
