Chapter 10: In "Memory" of Eigth

(CUBE OUTSIDE- EARTH)

"The cube is going to explode in... 5." Rusty says acting up.

"What? GALAXY!" Laura shouts.

"4" Rusty counts down

"Galaxy No!" Moon says.

"3."

"Oh dear." Runt says closing his eyes.

"2"

"Hey where's eigth?" Moon asks.

"Um I saw him go in there." Valarie says keeping quiet.

"1"

"What!?" Laura says all mad.

"We need to go!" Moon says rushing everyone away from the cube.

"0" Rusty says as the whole cube explodes completely forcing everyone down to the ground.

(7 MINUTES LATER - THE SMOKE HAS COMPLETELY VANISHED BY THEN)

"Ugh... what happened?" Moon says standing

Sydney is still passed out.

"Mmm Galaxy, Galaxy? GALAXY!" Laura says jumping straight up so confused but remembers Galaxy.

"What happened?" Runt says crawling up Laura's tail and standing on her head.

"Galaxy, oh no what now?" Laura says panicked

"Huh what?" Sydney says waking up to moon shaking her awake.

"Where's Rusty? Maybe he can scan the area for her?" Moon suggests.

Laura turns. "Rusty, Rusty?" Laura walks up to the salvage that use to be Rusty.

Rusty's tail is all bent and his head is bent with a broken ear and glass eye.

"Well he's totaled." Sydney says yawning.

"Come on let's go find her!" Laura runs off to the wreckage.

"What what's wrong?" Sydney asks.

"Um, you don't realize Galaxy could be dead?" Moon says as Laura is still panicky

"Oh.... OH NO!" Sydney starts to panic too.

"I'm not dead but where is Eigth." Galaxy says landing behind them folding her wings in looking around.

"My queen your safe!?" Lauara says bowing as Moon and Sydney bow too.

"Yes, but where is Eigth?" Galaxy demands to know.

"I don't know, but we'll look." Moon says walking away in search of Eigth.

"My Queen, how'd you escape?" Laura asks.

"I escaped only because Eigth came, but we parted right at the explosion. I only remember seeing the sun then a force field wrapping around me and Eigth then it had gone blurry do to the  smoke from the explosion." Galaxy says with this small story.

"Hey, where'd Valerie go?" Galaxy noticed.

"Wait, how'd you know Valarie can be seen?" Laura looks at Galaxy looking confused.

"I made her like that. Through the light magic." Galaxy says

"Oh.." Luara says relieved of most of her stress.

"Found him!" Sydney calls out from a pile of rubble.

"Oh good now I can-" Galaxy says walking up to his body covered up by a huge piece of wreckage.

"Oh my." Galaxy says faintly dropping her ears.

Laura and Sydney both step back and Moon runs back.

"Oh goodness... sweat almighty cheesy curds, is he?" Moon says not finishing the last word in the sentence.

"Yes, he is." Galaxy answers.

Moons ears drop and Laura drops landing on the ground.

"Sad, he was annoying-" Runt says being thrown off of Laura because Laura didn't want Galaxy to hear that.

"Now what?" Sydney asks.

"We do a ceremony for in honor of saving Galaxy." Laura says.

"Hey there Val."  Moon says.

"Hey anyone got bandage?" Valarie says lifting her wing showing a cut from glass.

"We'll get you fixed up at the Castle." Galaxy says.

"We should get going, it's getting dark out." Laura suggests.

"Ok." Galaxy agrees looking at the sunset.

"Let's geeeeeeoooow!" Sydney says looking at moon like she's gonna playfully beat him up.

"Yeah let's go." Moon says asking to hurry.

Galaxy's eyes start to glow in a whitish tan color making Eigth's body float and she turns to walk away as his floating body follows.

"Oh thank goodness we don't have to carry him." Sydney says in relieve.

"Yea remember the last time?" Moon says.

"Yeah that was Terrible!" Sydney says almost laughing.

"Guys shut up! That was Galaxy's old Mentor who took his own life." Laura says turning back around to follow Galaxy.

Moon and Sydney walk in Silence through the trees at a pick up point where Galaxy's ship always comes.
