Autumn had arrived, leaves flutter and fall to the damp ground. Soon the sound of running paws disturb the quiet atmosphere, along with howles.
The leaves stired around the golden paws that striked the ground. Slowly the sounds disappeared as the wolf stopped it racket and looked up at the surrounding trees, sharp green eyes watching the multi coloured leaves drift down. The wolf gave a content sigh and laid down on the fallen foliage. 'Beautiful as ever,' He thought and allowed himself to roll over to watch the leaves again.
A howl sounded from the distance and as soon as he laid he was up again, running to the call. About half way there the wolf slowly turned from beast to man. The male stopped and pulled on a pair of pants, that was stashed away, before treading back to the place he called home.
When he arrived to the brick house he pushed the door open and was greated by his mother's protestes. "Good heavens child! You're a mess, go, get!" She went off in a tizzy ushering him off to the wash room. "Ma, calm down I'm going, I'm going," He huffed and left his babbling mother. "Boy, don't you t-" She soon stopped when the door was shut and sighed. "That boy, rugged as ever." With that the mother left him be to his cleaning and went off to pester another child.
He sighed and started to wash the dirt from his skin. He watched the water change colour from clear to a mearky brown thanks to the mud. He quickly drained the tub and stepped out, drying his body and hair. He stayed in there for a bit, his mind if in it's own world, but that world was interrupted by a fearce pounding on the door. "Hurry up in there runt!" Snapped the red haired male, tryi g to make his younger brother leave the bathroom so he himself could use it. A sigh left the blond and he wrapped the towel around himself and opened the door to be rudely shoved aside by the towering elder. "Rude arse," He grumbles and left before the male could strangle him. He quickly disappeared into his room to change into loose clothing.
The blond left the room, suppressing a yawn and headed into the small living room and settled down on the couch.
He remembered when they first moved here, it was a small and crampt brick house, now it was more open and didn't have a musty smell to it. His father managed to get a job in the town, in helping repair homes and build new ones. Whatever was left over was given to him along with pay, it helped make the place a home and them blind in more.
His peace was quickly disturbed by a fight going on in the kitchen, it sounded like something over his mama's cooking and it being the last of it. He sighed and left the couch.
He pulled on his boots and walked out of the house.
A normal day in the house of wolves.
