The man set the muzzling collar aside and finished packing the renaming parts of the wolves.
He turned to look at the wolf that saves him once he was done. "Hey... com'er.." He lightly called, he planed in taking this wolf home and dealing with it there.

He watches the wolf stand and limp forward, but stop. The wolf's tail dropped along with it's ear and started to back away, he had seen what the man was holding.

'This isn't how it's suppose to go...' The wolf thought and a whimper left him.

"Non, non, com'er I want to help," The wolf only backed away eyes watching the contraception in the man's hand. He'd take his chances and with that turned from the man and attempted to run away, only to cause himself more pain. The man sighed and got up from the ground jogging after the limpping wolf once he had his pack back on.

The wolf gained a bit more speed, but he still was leaving a trail for the man to follow. He didn't mean to, but with his injuries it just made it harder to cover up his tracks. He knew his family was going to really tear him a new one for this. His mama would probably keep him locked in the house.

The man was a good few paces away, but he had a clear path. Blood spotted the leaves and scratch marks that raked the ground, he assumed it was from collapsing.

The wolf felt his leg lock up and he fell hard on the ground, a painful scream left the body. He howled for help, calling to his family to save him, help him, comfort him. He dragged himself towards a tree, finding it slightly hollowed out. He used his good leg to dig up some dirt.

The man wasn't far from the wolf, hearing its screams and howls. He arrived in the spot where the wolf was at, he looked around, hearing whimpers and whines. "Where..." His eyes followed a bloody trail of leaves, landing on the tree, noticing the kicked up dirt.

The wolf had hid himself inside the tree. He watched the man draw close. A hand jetted out and into the hole causing the wolf to cry out in fear and he tries to move away, but the space was small. He didn't want to bite him, but he didn't want to be dragged out.

The man felt around, his hand landing on the muzzle of the wolf. He took a deep breath and clapped his hand over it and pulled the wolf forward. Whines and cries left the creature as it was being pulled forward. Soon the man used his other hand to grab the scruff of the wolf and completely pulled it out. Once it was out and before the wolf could do anything, the man trapped it with his legs and kept it down.
"Sorry... but I'm not letting you escape." The man said as he forced the muzzle on him and clipped the collar. The wolf struggled, trying to get away, he was  in pain in so many places and he just wanted to go home and be babied by his mama.

A rope was looped into the collar and the man placed his hand on the shoulder, his other gripping the arrow. With a sharp pull the arrow was removed and the wolf screamed out in pain, thrashing under the man.

"Shhhh! Shhh! Calm down," The wolf only screamed out more, the one he had fallen for so many years ago, now pinning him down and causing him so much pain.

The man didn't want to hurt this lovely creature before him, he felt an ache in his chest. Everything was beautiful to him, but this wolf was something else and it hurt to see it in pain at his hand.
He kept the wailing wolf down, now patching the wound he caused and trying to calm it down. He feared of what may come if it's cries continued.

In some way the man was lucky the wolf's cries were unheard by it's family, but it did attach attention. The man noticed that the wolf wasn't going to calm down, unaware of what the wolf really was.

The man quickly finished up and picked the wolf up and started to carry it back, it started to wail out more, in pain and fear. What was to happen to him now? He wouldn't dare hurt this man, even if he tried to he was muzzled. The man kept carrying him and that grew closer to the village, where it so happened that the wolf's eldest brother was at at the time.
