After Charlie dies, Dr. Nemur and Dr. Strauss experiment again and change the formula so they can live a normal life as long as an average human lives. They experiment many times on mice and many died. They finally found the correct formula that makes people smarter but it has one bad side effect that you grow very quickly. The tallest you can grow when you get the experiment done is ten feet. They did the same successful experiment on a mouse named Malergernon. They did the normal maze that they did for Algernon and Charlie and he completed it in less that 5 seconds. Dr. Nemur and Dr. Strauss finally found the correct formula and put Malergernon back in his cage. After they cleaned up the room, they locked up the room and went home after a long day of work. During the long night, Malergernon grew so big and was a huge mouse, almost as big as medium sized dog. The doctors came to work the next day to see no mouse in a cage and their whole laboratory destroyed. They looked around to see Malergernon in the corner gnawing on pieces of lab materials . The doctors couldn't find a way to get rid of Malergernon. They decided to throw him into the streets to let him go on his own. Dr. Nemur walked outside with Malergernon in his hands trying to get it as far away as possible from his body. Malergernon was full of saliva and continue to gnaw on the tiny pair of scissors used in the lab. He gently place Malergernon on the ground and he quickly ran off to a empty trash can that has spilled out and he started to eat the remains of McDonald's chicken nuggets. Dr. Nemur went inside and locked the door behind him. (to be continued...)
