A/N Sorry this took so long to update. I've been busy with homework, but I genuinely have been working on this chapter.

Eddie woke up. The morning light glinted through Stan's window blinds and painted the room in a comforting glow. Stan's alarm clock was going off, and Eddie heard him groan and saw him slam his hand onto the small machine, cutting off the obnoxious beeping.

"Good morning." Stan said.

"Morning." mumbled Eddie, as he pushed the blanket off of himself and got out of bed.

Stan stood up on his vacuumed carpet floor, and carefully remade his bed, then ran his hands over the blanket, trying his best to get out any wrinkle left. He'd always wanted everything neat. Never has changed for him.

"I'm gonna go get dressed." said Eddie, and grabbed the outfit he chose the previous day out of the bag he brought.

"Okay."

The two boys got into their outfits, Eddie in the bathroom, and Stan in his own room. Eddie had his hair combed into the neat style he always liked, and he was wearing a light red shirt, and a pair of denim shorts. Stan was wearing a baby blue polo and some khaki pants. The two wanted to look at least a little decent on their first day, and for their school pictures. Then, they went down to the kitchen.

"What would you like for breakfast? I mean, we don't really have a lot. We have waffles, though. I can probably just stick them in the toaster, and we can eat them on the way to school." Stan asked.

"I'll have a waffle." said Eddie.

Stan grabbed the box of Eggos from the freezer, cooked two of them in the toaster, and then the two started walking to school together.

"What if one of my teachers makes me tell the class about myself? I remember that last year I had to in one of my classes." asked Eddie, nervously.

"Then you talk. You don't always have to be so shy, Eddie." Stan replied.

"I can't really help it. I just get so nervous when people I'm not close to talk to me."

"Well, then try to get close to some people."

Eddie sighed. "I'll try my best."

"Maybe you can try talking to Richie."

Eddie smiled.

"I wish. But I don't think I can."

"Oh, come on. You used to be really close to him. You can do it. I believe in you!"

Eddie let out a little giggle.

"Thanks, Stan."

"No problem, Eddie."

The two talked about life and their plans for the school-year until they finally arrived at the doors of the loathed building they knew would give them at least one hundred days of stress, and boredom.

The minuter they walked into the school, they saw Mike, who they hadn't heard much from in awhile, at his locker, talking to a boy they didn't recognize. Eddie immediately felt a bit of gloom, when all the memories he'd had with him came rushing back into his mind.

"Alright, Eddie. I got to go to first hour. See you at third." Stan said.

"Okay. See you."

Eddie solemnly trudged to the art room, which was first period for him. He didn't choose his electives this year, so they were random. But he didn't mind art, so he was glad. The smell of paint and clay filled his nose. There were four large tables in the room, and each was surrounded by chairs. The tables were obviously not cleaned very well, as patches of dried acrylics and marker spotted them. He took a seat in the back of the room, and he ignored all the students that came flooding into the room.
