A/N I've made my decision: I'm adding some light Stanlon, not a lot of it. I want the story to be mostly focusing on Reddie, and I don't want people who don't like Stanlon to be unhappy. Sorry if this bothers any of you, and if it does, let me know.

They stood there together, Richie's arms wrapped around Eddie in a warm embrace. They both felt safe, and they didn't care much at all if anybody was looking. Richie finally pulled away, and let out a hushed sigh, and looked at the worn wooden porch beneath his feet.

"Eddie, I'm sorry. We literally just started talking again yesterday, and I already kissed you, and to top all of that off I don't even know if you're... you know, into guys." Richie said, and then looked at Eddie's brown eyes, waiting for an answer. Eddie tried opening his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. He had, of course, enjoyed that moment, and didn't mind the timing of it, because they've known each other for years, overall. But his words seemed to be stuck in his throat.

"I'll just go." Richie said. "See you tom-"

"No. No, its okay." Eddie smiled. "I kissed back, Richie. I wouldn't do that if I didn't like it... But...what do you think this makes us?"

Richie smirked. "I dunno. What do you think this makes us?"

Eddie's eyes widened in mild surprise, and his face flushed into a tint of pink. "I don't know either. That's k-kinda why I asked."

"Well, why don't we go out on a date?"

"Okay. When?"

Richie shrugged. "Right now."

"Right now?"

"Why not? Your parents aren't home."

"But yours are."

"They don't give a shit." Richie chuckled. "They don't care what I do anymore."

Eddie didn't know what to say to that. "So, uh... Where do you wanna go?"

"...Movies?"

Eddie nodded, and deeply hoped they wouldn't be seeing something scary.

They were heading to The Aladdin, which was the only movie theater they knew where to find. Richie often shot small glances at the small boy sitting in his passenger seat, and he decided to gently take Eddie's hand in his. Eddie smiled.

"So, what movie are we going to see?" Eddie said, and the silence was quickly swept away.

"I don't know yet. Anything in mind?"

"Well, I think the most popular ones that just came out are To Kill A Mockingbird, 101 Dalmatians, and Psycho. Psycho's the most popular, though."

"So are we going to see Psycho, then?"

Eddie felt his heartbeat accelerate, and though he knew he's embarrass himself by looking away or jumping at scary scenes, he nodded, and they soon arrived at the old theater that the Losers used to go to together as kids.

They walked inside together, and Richie grabbed Eddie's hand again, causing many to look their way. Eddie didn't mind holding Richie's hand, but what he did mind was people staring.

"Richie, people are looking." Eddie said, under his breath.

"So, what? We're not doing anything wrong."

"I know, but neither were Adrian Mellon or Don Hagarty..."

Richie squeezed Eddie's hand briefly.

"Everything will be okay, Eddie. I promise. They'll have to deal with us."

Richie finger-gunned an old man who was glaring at them with a mortified expression, causing Eddie to burst into a short fit of giggles.
