"the summer of 2013" at this time alexis was going to enter her sophomore year of high school alexis was 16 and artravious was 19, It was one more week till school started and alexis parents decided last minute that they would take a cruise for there anniversary and they figured Alexis was old enough to care for herself for one week.Her parents left around 12:00 A.M. that morning for there flight, artravious had to work all that day but he was getting off at 8:00 P.M. that night. Now by this time alexis and artravious had been bestfriends for 2 in a half years and keep in mind alexis was still a virgin, but she already knew that artravious was the one. All this time of them being bestfriends they never took it too far the most they did was kiss and give hickey's to one another but the only serious thing that took place between them was when artravious ate her out and that was her first experience with a boy he never wanted to take advantage of her because he truly cared for Alexis he was was just use to using girls and leaving but with her ....it was diffrent for some reason.

It reached 8:00 artravious swung home for a quick shower by 9:00 he was knocking on her door she opend the door in a long jordan t-shirt that artravious had given her to keep and some nike slides her hair was in a big curly afro.

Laying in bed next to each other while tray played im Alexis hair "Ughhhhhhh" Alexis blew out "my whole summer been boring as hell I didn't do nothing exciting" ."Its ok but you look so good in my t-shirt" artravious said while looking in her eyes next thinh you know there lips were locked together and he ended up on top of her slipping out of her t-shirt and stiffly sliding tray's jacket off while pulling on his shirt and trying to lift it up he pulled away while letting out heavy breaths and looking into her eyes "baby girl slow down you sure you ready for this" alexis gave him this really dear and deep sincere look and softly planted her lips on his.

*45 minutes later*

They both let out groans and they could feel each others body relax, trying to catch there breaths Alexis could do nothing but lay there in shock. "Damn we really just did that" ,"yea we did" artravious said while smirking, that whole night they just laid there and talked about there future's and how great moving forward with each other was going to be.They remained bestfriends they didn't necessarily know if they were ready to be a couple.

That was the last day alexis spoke to artravious, artravious tried calling alexis multiple times after that but she never answered. It took alexis a year to finally move one with her life ,through out the rest of high school she never dated anyone and turned anyone down who tried finally giving love a chance after she graduated she met marcus. Artravious on the other hand never stop thinking abouy her and regretted everything he said that day, but he only said that cause he thought alexis deserved better "I guess you truly don't know What yoy have until its gone"
