Chloe's POV:
Right after English class is over, I went to the cafeteria to meet my friends. Nothing special about today's menu. Just chicken nuggets and tuna sandwiches with Brussel sprouts as the side dishes. Ugh barf. Usually I do not really care what they serving but Brussel sprouts ew no.
I'm not really that hungry, so I just grabbed an apple and a bottle of orange juice as a light snack for me. Not really the best choice to eat, but it's worth it.
While walking through the cafeteria, I saw Shu lying on the floor next to the cafeteria door. I sighed in response where this is typical for Shu.
Shu is sure quite the lazy one, but that's who he is though.
I thought as I shrugged my shoulders nonchalantly, I decided to sat next to him. I don't why, but I just felt like it. I tilt my head humming silently while staring at him.
He doesn't seem to be too bad unlike his brothers....I wonder what he's dreaming about.
I thought curiously as I took a bite from an apple while staring at him. He slowly opened his eyes revealing his gorgeous blue eyes as he turned to me with an emotionless expression.
"You're the girl from our history class...."
He spoke lazily to me with an emotionless expression.
"Mhm I'm Chloe Pierce."
I calmly introduced myself to him as he lightly nods at me.
"I watched your videos on YouTube, you sang very good."
He compliment me which kinda surprises me cuz most of my videos aren't that popular.
"Thank you."
I politely replied with a stoic look. Usually I posted videos of me singing whenever I feel like it, however, most of them didn't really go viral. All I have is 66 views on my YouTube channel, so I'm not really much of a popular YouTuber.
Still I was kinda surprised when the lazy eldest brother Shu complimented me. Hell this is the first time a person ever complimented my YouTube videos.
"You love music?"
He asked curiously.
"Yeah...but I only play the piano at home..I'm too shy to express myself..."
I shyly stated as Shu turns to me with a stoic look, he gently grabs my hand where I blinked at him.
"Well...I'm looking forward to listen to your next piece....I find your videos entertaining...."
He compliment me with a calm tone as I narrowed my eyes down to the ground.
"I guess I wouldn't mind....since you asked me so nicely....."
I replied timidly with a slight blush appeared from my cheeks. I then glanced back at him with a bit of a shy expression.
"You love music too?"
I asked curiously as he replied with a light nod.
"I listened to music everyday. Even when I get bored, I would just pull out my MP3 player so I won't get bored to death....I also don't talk to people, I usually ignore them like they don't exist to me."
He explained emotionlessly as I widen my eyes a bit when I knew he was the guy for me, I smiled warmly at him.
"That's sorta like me...."
"Hm?"
He turned to me with a curious look as I twiddled my fingers with a small grin.
"Well it's pretty complicated for my to say this but....I'm always alone since I was little....."
I shyly stated while remembering my past. Despite being friends with Jamie and the others, I was always alone...and my mother would always berate me during piano lessons. It was a frightening memory that I will never forget, but luckily for me, Jamie got me out of it. And that's how end up living with Jamie and the others.
While reminiscing my horrible childhood, I soon snapped out of my thoughts when I saw a tear drop to my right hand. I widen my eyes when tears are forming from my eyes. I glanced at Shu who noticed my crying and I avert my eyes away from him refusing to see me crying.
"S-Sorry...."
I apologized while lowering my head down to my knees, but Shu didn't say anything and pulled me closer to him. Which shocks me. What is he doing? Doesn't he say anything? Where is his cold and distant personality?
Shu then sighed and finally respond.
"Don't cry so much, it'll make your eyes puffy."
He assured me while putting his arm around my shoulder. I formed a warm smile and closed my eyes as tears slowly fell from my cheeks.
"Sorry and....Thank you...."
I kindly thanked him with a warm smile as Shu lightly nodded at me while everyone is looking at us, but neither of us don't care.
Hmmm...maybe Shu isn't just some lazy guy. I guess he might not be that bad after all.....
