Chapter 1

I'm Ansen Espinosa. Yeah I know. "Oh my gosh! You're Matthew Espinosa sister." Yes I know I have been all of my life, nothing has changed. I get that he's kinda "famous" or whatever but I still see him as my crazy, hilarious, yet amazing brother.

We are getting off the plane. We just landed in Dallas for Magcon, and it's the first day. No I am not in Magcon, but Matt and I are really close, so I tag along.

We walked out of the plane to see all the guys were already there. As soon as Matt and Cam make eye contact, Matt runs to Cam and jumps into his arms. "Oh my gosh, Matt! It's been too long. I've missed you so much!" "I know! Two weeks is too long." Matt yelled causing a scene, but that definitely wasn't anything new.

We all met about two weeks ago when we had a meeting about Magcon and what was going to go down. We met everyone and got along really well. It feels like I've known them forever.

I finally reach where all the guys are at. "Hey Ansen. How are you doing?" Nash say giving me a hug, and grabbing everyone's attention. "Oh my gosh Ansen, we've missed you." "Awe, I've missed all of you too." I said earning hugs from all of the guys.

"Hey, where's the new guy?" Gilinsky says. "Bart said he was about to be here." "Where does he live anyway?" Nash says interrupting Cam. "He's from a small town in Canada." Cameron snapped back a little annoyed.

I looked at everyone a little confused. They all seemed to know what was going on, but I had no idea. "Hey, what new guy?" I asked furrowing my eyebrows together. "Matt you didn't tell her?" "Oh no I didn't, sorry Ansen." "Yeah Thanks a lot." I said sarcastically punching him. "Ouch!" He said rubbing his chest. "Hey, you asked for it buddy."

"Anyway I'm still waiting. What new guy?" "I questioned a bit impatient and annoyed. I mean who could blame me it was eight in the morning. "Shawn Mendes, he posts covers on vine and YouTube. He's pretty good." "Okay thank you Taylor." He responded with a bit of a laugh. "You're welcome."

"Anyway...when are we going to the hotel?" I asked. "I don't know, let me ask." Cam said. "Okay thanks." "Hey bart!" He turned around. "Yeah Cam." "When are we leaving to go to the hotel?" He looked at his watch. "We can go ahead and head out." "Okay."

We went and got our luggage and headed outside to the limo, the boys signing some autographs along the way.

"Hey when did you say we were gonna meet up with that new guy?" I said while man in the suit opened the car door for me. "Right about now." An unfamiliar voice said. I quickly turned my head to see a boy stepping out of the limo. He had brown hair styled nicely into a quiff, soft caramel eyes, and a small scar on his cheek.

He was stunning. I caught myself staring, but I couldn't help it. He waved his hand in front of my face, snapping me out of my trance. I felt the blood rush to my cheeks. Hey, I'm Shawn. What's your name, beautiful?" He said sticking out his hand for a handshake. "Hey, I um, my name is Ansen." "Well it's nice to meet you." "Yeah, you too Shawn."
