Violet Chapter 8- Arena Escape

Again. They're making me fight. AGAIN. Ughhhhh I hate them ALL.
Violet lashed out at the people that kept her in the cage. She tried to stop them from bringing her to the arena. They let her out of the dragon proof cage, and hurriedly closed the gate. She turned around and faced her opponents.
She wasn't expecting to turn around and see another Night Flyer, she wasn't expecting it at all. Nor was she expecting to see a Sand Striker. Her eyes changed to an electrifying pink, her real eye color, then went back to bloodshot red. Focus, she said, scolding herself, They are trying to kill you. Violet hissed a warning to the other dragons, but they just sat there. They didn't want to fight. I won't attack them then. If they don't want to fight, I won't fight them either. She thought.
"Please don't fight us," the other Night Flyer whispered, "We just want to escape." Violet glared at her. Why? She thought, Why? There is no possible way to escape and no way to... unless... NO! There is no way to escape.
"You look like you're having an argument with yourself," The Sand Striker said flatly. Violet glared at him menacingly. Then she said,
"Ok, what's the plan." She said, trying to enthisize that she was going to hear the plan or fight them. So the other Night Flyer explained the plan, and told Violet their names.
But then Violet's attention was in the sky. A thunder of dragons(a thunder is a group of dragons flying together) were flying to the arena.
"RUN TO THE DRAGON PROOF AREA!" The announcer yelled, "DON'T TRY TO FIGHT THEM OR YOU WILL BE KILLED!"
Violet glanced around, fear in her eyes. But Saffire wasn't nervous at all.
"Uhh.. how come you aren't totally freaking out right now?" Violet asked.
"Those are Shadow's friends, and they're here to rescue us." Saffire explained.
Maybe there really is a chance to escape, Violet thought.
