Eunji's Pov

"Jungkook please be alright..." I let out a whisper as I closed my eyes shut while slouching my back on the seat and pressing both of my palms together at my lips.

My hands, cheek and clothes were all stained with Jungkook's dark red blood. I could also smell the strong metallic blood as it linger around my nostrils, reminding me what had I done.

Tears were trickling down my cheeks while I wait for the doctor anxiously to leave the emergency room with good news.

Suddenly loud footsteps and panic voices can be heard from the corner, causing me to pull away from my hand as I turn my head towards the source of the noice.

"Cherry!"

Taehyung oppa exclaimed as he appear from the corner.

Relief immediately washed over his face when his gaze finally landed on me, sitting on the chair outside the emergency room alone. Taehyung oppa quickly fasten his pace as he ran towards me.

Jimin, Bambam, Yugyeom soon also appeared from the corner. Even Jungkook's father also showed up...

All of them have the same worried look that Taehyung have just now as they quickly make their way towards me.

"Eunji, we got your text! What happen?!" Yugyeom asked as he looked at me from head to toe in shock before shifting his gaze to meet my swollen red eyes.

"Where is Jungkook?! Why did he suddenly got into a car accident?!" Jungkook's father anxiously asked.

Everyone was all looking at me with mixed emotions as they waited for my answer; the answer to solve all of their questions.

I slowly turned my head to look at Jungkook's father. My gaze met with his anxious wide-eyes. More tears were threaten to fall as I looked at him in guilt.

"J-Jungkook is still in the emergency room... The doctors are trying to safe him..." I say in a hoarse voice.

"But why did he suddenly got into a car acc- ... What are you doing?!"

"Eunji!"

Everyone became flustered as their eyes widen in confusion to see me dropping my body on the floor, kneeling in front of Jungkook's father with my head lowered in guilt.

"I'm really sorry Mr Jeon... It's all my fault! I cause Jungkook to get into the car accident..." I bursted in tears with my head hang low which caused everyone to become silent.

"I-I was running away from Jungkook... A-As... h-he was chasing after me on the street... H-He g-got... H-He got..."

I stopped myself when a lump suddenly formed in my throat as I stared at my bloody hand. I quickly closed my eyes shut while images of Jungkook lying lifelessly on my lap came rushing through my mind.

It's all my fault... I thought as I clench my fist.

"Eunji..." Jungkook's father warmly say, breaking my train of thoughts as I could feel him kneeling down right in front of me.

"It is not your fault sweetheart... You don't have to blame yourself. Nobody want this to happen, you also didn't expect this to happen so stop blaming yourself okay? I know Jungkook is a strong boy and he will surely overcome this." Jungkook's father softly say as he placed his arm on my shoulder.

I swallow the lump in my throat as I open my eyes and slowly looked up to meet Jungkook's father's gaze. Despite me causing his son to get hit by a car, he was still looking at me with a warm smile.
