24 hours turned into days, days turned into weeks. Jungkook was lost without Taehyung. He had nothing to do, all Jungkook would do is sit in his cold, lonely room. Trapped by his thoughts. He wouldn't answer his phone, he couldn't bare to look at it, knowing the one person he thought he could have a future with, wasn't there anymore. 

He grew to be dangerously unhealthy. He started refusing meals his mother had offered him. He locked himself in his bedroom, only leaving when he needed to use the restroom. 

Jungkook didn't know how to live. Every one of his days would revolve around Taehyung. He'd await the goodmorning texts, the 'how are you's' and 'what are you doing's. It's funny how much Jungkook relied on Taehyung for safety. The poor boy didn't even know it. He felt so lost. 

Jungkook's mind went to a totally different place. A dark place. It was terrifying.

Knock Knock  

He heard from his bed. 

"Jungkook, honey, are you awake? Jimin called again. He's worried about you." His mother spoke to him softly. 

No response. 

mom.. He thought to himself,  She's being so patient with me. Thank you. 

Eventually the boys mom stopped knocking and left. Jungkook never acted this way. It was worrisome. 

"Mrs," Jimin spoke to the other's mother. "Has he said anything to you?"

"I'm afraid not." Jungkook's mother sighed. "Tell me, what happened? Why is he being like this?"

"It's not my place to share his personal information, I'm sorry." 

"I'm his mother."

Jimin let out a sigh. Explaining everything to Jungkook's mother. She was shocked. It wasn't like Taehyung to ignore Jungkook. Everyone knew that. 

"Jimin, I'm trying to be patient with him. I am, but he can't stay in his room forever."

"I know." 

"I'm worried."

"I know." 

"He won't speak to me. I can hear his phone ringing, and he just lets it ring. He's not answering anyone. Not even his own mother." 

"He's heartbroken. We need to let him heal." 

With a hug goodbye, and a fake smile, Jimin left Jungkook's house after showing up each day for a week.

Taehyung..

What did I do wrong?

I thought he loved me too. 

why did this have to happen. 

Who told him?  Was it Jimin? He was the only one  who really knew. Maybe that's why he's been showing up everyday. He's guilty. 

But he wouldn't do that to me. I know he wouldn't want me hurting like this. 

Maybe it WAS Jin? And he's just playing the nice guy to keep his image clean?

Fuck.. I hate this. 

Do I deserve this? 
I was nothing but nice to Taehyung. I gave him everything I had to offer, was it not enough? 

why does it hurt so bad? I only knew him for a few months. I shouldn't care, so why do I?
