Gosh, I didn't think this through. I mean, I can't shift yet, so how the hell did I think I was going to run away halfway across the country? I sighed and slowed down my pace. I looked back at where I come from and sighed again. Me, being a big oaf, wasn't a lie. I shouldn't have expected to walk very far with the physical shape that I am in. When I start my new life, I am going to get into shape, I promised myself.

My ears perked up at a sudden growl that was coming in front of me. That is, if I get a chance to start a new life, I added, staring at the giant wolf in front of me. My eyes widen as I stare at it bared sharp teeth that was dripping with the saliva. I looked at it's enormous size and gulped. It was a light brown coating with black at the end of its tail. I think it was a werewolf, at least I hope it is. A regular wolf would love to eat a chunky piece of meat like me. Although, werewolf and regular wolfs are somehow connected, I have yet to shift.

I held up my hand like a mortal would. Gosh, this is so embarrassingI feel completely helpless. The wolf looked at my raised hands before settling their eyes on me. It stalks towards and then starts circling me. I remain stiff in my position and I swear, I broke a sweat just standing there.

After the wolf finished analyzing me, it walked to where it stood before and transformed. Yep, werewolf.

I slightly blush at the naked man in front of me and turned my head around. Not bad looking either. He had black hair and hazel eyes, matching with a bronze tan.

"What are you doing in our land, rogue?" He spoke.

My eyebrows scrunched together. I thought I only walked about 50 miles. But then I remember, I had walked to the edge of the forest my pack - well my old pack - owned  and then the 50 miles. I bowed my, meaning that I didn't mean trouble. "I'm sorry, I did not know I was on your land. I will be getting on my way."

I took a step forward but he raised his hand, stopping me from moving any further. "I can not let you do that, rogue," I began to panic. "You must speak to the Alpha before you leave. I am only the beta's son."

No! "Um, I don't think that is a very good idea," I averted my eyes to look at the the ground, "You see, I have  bad experiences with Alphas."

His eyebrow quirked up. "What exactly do you mean by that?"

I shook my head. "I'm sorry, it's too personal."

He looked me over before nodding. "The Alpha is not a cruel leader, he will understand whatever. But you must go see the Alpha if you are to at least cross his territory."

"I understand."

"Let's go then."

He turned around and started walking into the forest that probably headed towards the pack. I took in the surrounding around us as we walked.

It was absolutely beautiful. There were trees everywhere, life everywhere. Birds flying about, singing. It was a dreamland for any wolf. The forest was so big,  and I'm sure I didn't even see half of it. Every once in a while, I would see clothes sticking out from under a root of a tree or inside the hole of a tree trunk. There seems to be no garbage on the forest floor, it looked so clean. If I had a choice, I could stay here forever. I frowned, nut I cant. I have to get away from my old pack as far as I can go.
