The Truth

“Okay guys. I think that’s enough for tonight.” Speedy hiccuped. All of his friends had gathered at Shadows place. Everyone was drunk, except the two who were underage; which is G18 and Sidearms. 

All of them were gathered in the living room laughing over dumb shit, except G18 and Side who were having their own conversation, while the other guys were smashed. 

“So guys. How about a game of truth or dare?” Hova smirked. Everyone grinned, “Yes!

“So who will go first?” Hova laughed. Everyone shrugged. “I guess I’ll go then,” He sighed, “Uh. Deluxe truth or dare?”

“Dare Feller!” He yelled. Jahova though for a minute and looked around the room. He noticed G18 was off in a conversation with Side and not paying attention. He grinned. 

“I dare you to go lick G’s ear.” D4 smirked and got up. He snuck over behind G18 before licking the back of his ear. 

“Holy shit!” He screamed jumping up. Deluxe grinned and sat back down. G18 flipped him off. Everyone laughed as Deluxe went. 

By the end of the game, things were spilled and someone ended up without underwear. By now most of them had gone to bed, except Shadow, Side, G, and the Deluxes.

The deluxe brothers had passed out on each other and G was sitting on his phone, which left Shadow and Side sitting next to each other. 

“Well I’m gonna head to bed,” Shadow slurred. He stood up and stumbled slightly. 

“You need some help?” Side asked. He got up to help Shadow up the stairs, but he pushed him away. Side ignored him and continued getting him upstairs. He helped him into bed and got him anything he needed. 

Side knew he’d have a bad hangover the next morning, so he put some medication and a water bottle next to his bed for the morning. When he was about to walk out of the room, Shadow called out, “No, please stay.”

Side was shocked. “Why would you want me to stay.. Don’t I just annoy you?” He looked down at the floor. Shadow got up out of the bed and grabbed his hand. 

“It seems like that, but I-I,” He paused for a second, “I really do like you..” Side didn’t know what to say. “R-really?” He nodded. 

“Really..” He whispered before pressing his lips to Side's. He was shocked at first, but kissed back after a moment. They pulled away and gazed into each other’s eyes. “Will you stay now?” Shadow smiled. Side giggled and nodded. They both crawled into his bed and cuddled up together. 

Time skip to next morning.

The next morning Shadow woke up with a pounding headache and no memory of the night before. He blinked his eyes open and glared at the brightness in the room. He glanced over at the side table and noticed so,done had left him some medication. He smiled slightly at the gesture. He took some and chugged the water bottle. 

He heard a light knock on his door. He groaned, “What?” Side stuck his head in the doorway. 

“How do you feel?” He asked sympathetically. Shadow shrugged, “Fine I guess.”

Side walked over at sat next to Shadow on the bed. “Do you remember anything from last night?” He wondered. Shadow shook his head. 

“No. Why? What’d I do?” Shadow sat up. 

Side bit his lip. “Well when you were heading off to bed, you were stumbling and struggling so I helped you, even though you didn’t want help. So I took you up to your room and whenever I was leaving you told me to stay. Then you, uh, confessed you liked me.”

“I-I did?” Shadow stuttered. Side nodded.  Side wanted to beeline what he had said last night, but he was drunk. He can’t believe him. 

“Side? Do you not believe me?” Shadow said softly. Side looked up at him. “You were drunk. I don’t know what to think..”

“Don’t think,” Shadow mumbled before pressing his lips against Side's. 

Side's eyes widened before he closed them and began to kiss back.

“Hey guys we- WOAH.” They pulled apart very quickly and looked over to who interrupted them. Shadow rubbed the back of his neck. 

“Oh, uh, hi G…” Sidearms chuckled nervously. 

“I’m just going to back away & pretend I saw nothing,” G18 laughed as he left the room. 

Side and Shadow looked at each other and laughed. They pressed their lips back together for a moment. They parted their lips and looked at each other. "Let's go downstairs", Side said and walked out of the room. Shadow followed him downstairs.
