"These are the rules, no talking, no texting, no phones, no paper airplanes, and No MAKING OUT!" Everyone turns to the couple in the back of the classroom. "And n-" the gym coach who got nominated to do detention duty was cut short by the door being slammed open.
"You've been here two days and have already got a detention?!" I look to the door to see the boys I met yesterday.
"Yep!" Jordon said happily. Mr. James just shakes his head and points to spot of empty seats.
"Look I'm also doing basketball practice and I care more about my team so your on your own, I have security cameras so I'm still watching." With that he left the room.
"Love the hair!" I felt someone touching my hair as they twirl it in between their fingers.
"Thanks!" I turn around as jordon looks taken back.
"What happened to you!" I knew what he was talking about. I had a terrible morning.
"I was late."
"Well, you look like shit!"
I watch as Cole or Blake slaps Jordon behind the head. But he wasn't lying, I had a horrible morning.
———
"Oh, no!" I yelled as I saw my alarm clock, I'm two hours late for school!I jump out of bed and halted in front of my mirror as my hands go to my hair.
"My father is going to kill me!" I then remembered the situation I was in and ignored the thought of dying and never being able to have kids or a husband, let alone a life!
I rush to bathroom and strip of my pajamas and turn the shower water on to extremely hot but my eyes were still blurry since I didn't have my glasses or contacts in I changed it to freezing cold. I yelped with the cold shots of water hitting my body feeling like knifes were hitting my skins.
"Ahh!" I quickly switched the temperature and quickly went through my shower routine.
I quickly got out and dried off as fast as I could. I was about to open my closet door when my foot slipped on the hardwood floor from my wet feet and I face palmed onto the floor. I groaned and got back up and opened the door and grabbed a random outfit. I threw it on and called it good.
I went back to the bathroom and plugged in my curler and started to add lose curls, I pulled back my front section of hair and clipped it back.
I unplugged it and grabbed the wand part and screamed. I ran cold water on my hand after that incident. Once my hand cooled down I ran back into my room and packed up my bag and stumbled out of my room and almost fall down the stairs.
———
"Well, that's a nice way to wake up." I smile sickly at Jordon and Cole and Blake laugh."Wanna join us after detention? We're going to hang out at our house. Wanna come?" My attention was now on Cole who was smiling at me.
"I'd love too!" I smile back at him.
"Have I met you before?" I was taken back by Blake's question. "You just look, like, really familiar. And now that I think of it, I never caught your name." Now all of them nodded agreeing with Blake.
"That's because i never gave it to you." I replied with the same answer as I gave Jordon the day he pet my dog.
"Wait! I know who you are!" I start to sweat, I swear if he knows my name I bolting out of here.
"Your that girl I saw with the really cute baby dog!" I let out a silent breath at the fact they don't know my name. "But why won't you tell us your name?" This time the nod with Jordon's words.
