"RUN! Don't come back here! YOU TRAITOR! LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE"

"I didn't mean too, no! PLEASE!"

Ring ring ring..

-No One POV-
The loud sound of ringing echoed through the bedroom. "W-what the h*ll is that.." Max groaned to herself as she rolled over trying to cover her ears with the pillow below her. As the ringing continued Max opened her eyes slowly, "What time is it.." she said groaning softly sitting up, taking taking a deep breath. After looking around for a moment a feeling had began to grow in her stomach that something wasn't right.

Turning over Max reached over to grab her phone.  Her eyes squinting slightly to the bright light shinning in her eyes, which quickly widened.

"Damn it!" Max yelled as she jumped out of bed in a panic running around her room quickly trying to pick out an outfit.

"T-shirt and shorts? Or sweatshirt and jeans? Hey google what is the weather gonna be like today?" She asked. "Good morning Max, the weather today will be  78 degrees with a slight chance of rain." "Sweatshirt and Jeans it is."  She sighed to herself in a rush.

"Great. It's the first day back in high school and I'm late." max thought to herself, quickly running down the stairs trying to put on her shoes and jacket at the same time. On her way out the door looking over to the photo sitting on the kitchen counter. Max stopped momentarily as she took a deep breath closing her eyes.

"Hey mom I miss you, I hope everything is going good up there... It's the first day of my senior year in high school. I know, I know growing up too fast. I wish you were here to see me.. but please watch over me..." Max said softly as she walked out the door.

-10 minuets later-

Max finally arrived to school and looked around a bit nervous seeing all the new faces. Moving to a completely new area is one thing but trying to blend yourself into the environment around you is another.

Still rushing to get to class Max turned to the side noticing a huge crowd forming by a line of a couple of cars. There were too many kids to get a good look but from the looks of it this was a normal occurrence. She looked away trying to focus on getting to her destination.

Max quickly rushed over to her first hour looking at the schedule on her phone hoping she'd find the right class. The school wasn't in the best of shape when getting a better look. The walls were covered in smudges and chipped paint here and there. The lockers barely gave students room to walk through the hallways. Yet it almost felt homey in a way. It felt like normal old high-school. Once again.

After roaming the hallways Max finally came across her room number and took a deep breathe opening the door slowly.

The teacher was beginning to speak "alright find your seats the bell will be ringing soon- oh hello!" Some of the kids quickly turned there heads looking at the door.  "oh- hi sorry if I'm interrupting.. I think this my class.. are you Ms.patty?" Max said softly instantly feeling a bit weary about all the eyes on her.

"Oh.. Yes dear! I'm Ms.Patty, this is AP Chemistry please introduce yourself to the class once I ask you too, you're actually a bit early so no need to rush. There are no assigned seats so sit anywhere you would like, I'll start class a bit later since most of our students aren't here anyways."
