No Ones POV
Jungkooks eyes were Red and Orange as he began to make his way towards Max. Slightly worried knowing exactly what his eyes meant. "This isn't good."
He came closer and finally smirked at her titling his head to the side. "You don't seem shocked." Jungkook said circling her, Max knew exactly what this was though. Night crawlers will circle pray before attacking. Most the time we barely notice since it just in our nature but it became clear he didn't just want to talk to me.
"I knew something was wrong with you.." Max said scoffing trying to walk away from the situation. Knowing she was in danger.
Another boy suddenly appeared behind me. "Hello, Max is it? My name is Taehyung but you can call me Tae." He said with a big smile putting his hand out to shake Max's. "Nice to meet you." she sighed softly shaking his hand.
Taehyung's nice guy expression dropped slightly as he held her hand tighter. He placed his hand on her chin making her meet his gaze, his pupils dilating as he said, "you should tell me everything I need to know about you.." Max quickly let go looking back at the table and then at Jungkook and Taehyung.
"You are all sick, why the hell should I tell you anything." Max said in anger as she walked away the smell of blood becoming too much for her. Usually vampires need to eat humans to survive some can go months without eating and use animal blood as a substitution but it doesn't fill you up for long making you weaker.
"I tried compulsion" Tae said still shocked that she didn't respond. Compulsion is a way of getting a human to do what you want, when you want.
"you must've did it wrong then." Jungkook scoffed in denial. "Okay fine, but we need to make sure." Tae said walking back over to the guys. "Hey do you still have that whistle?" Jimin sighed. "Dude that hurts our ears so badly though. I knew I should've thrown it away."
"what do you need it for?" He asked going through his bag to find it. "Tae just drop it. we're the only ones left, they all died in that-." Jungkook stopped himself annoyed. "Look I'm just curious let me find out for myself okay?" Tae responding grabbing the whistle out of Jimins hands.
"Cover your ears guys." He said quietly as he clicked the button. The loud piercing noise shot through the air instantly making the boys groan in pain as they covered their ears tightly
Max's POV
Gosh my stomach won't stop grumbling. "I need to eat something soon or else I'm gonna pass out- ah!" I began to groan as this loud piercing noise shot through my ear. "What the hell is that." Max growled slightly looking all around till her eyes finally landed on one of the boys hand.
"H-how did they find that.."
Those were burned in the fire years ago.. i snapped out of my thoughts quickly making eye contact with the boys who were struck with wide eyes. Nobody else in the room reacted, the whistle was at such a high frequency that only vampires could hear.
"f*ck." My heart dropped seeing their eyes with a faint shade of red and orange
They aren't too happy.
I began to back up slowly too stunned to speak. I was just thinking about all the different ways I'd avoid them knowing my identity and it all just got thrown away by that whistle.
A f*cking whistle of all things.
"Well isn't this just splendid." Max said scoffing to herself as she watched namjoon stand up. I tried to hold my feelings back but my body was filled with anger and stress.
