the partnership was going great. key word being was. until Rose decided that she knew best and completely ignored my instructions that almost got her killed!! she couldn't get a signal because she was out of range so she thought it was a good idea to move the van closer. SHE'S OUT OF RANGE FOR A REASON. I've made it explicitly clear that I'm in charge and she obeys my orders. I'm twelve stops past angry. I'm straight up infuriated. what would I do with myself if she got hurt, or worse, got killed? how could I live with myself? how could I face her parents? I after I got rid of the criminals I went back to the van and accidentally ripped off the door because of how angry I was. I found her sitting on the floor crying with some bruises. I took off my mask and got the first aid kit but I couldn't hold back my anger. "do you have any idea what could have happened to you?! this isn't a game, Rose! these people are actual bad guys, they would have killed you if I hadn't showed up!!" I sighed and crouched down next to her to wipe up some of her blood. "... I just... I don't know what I would do if I lost you..." you mean more to me than you know, but I don't tell her that. I just hold her in my arms and feel her shaking. maybe some good can come out if this, maybe she'll actually listen to me now and heed to my authority and let me protect her.
