Chapter 8

Genna's POV

"Kayla Wait!" I scream but she just kept running. She is now sprinting, so I am too, but then there is pain rushing through my body. I just realized that I’m on the ground; I must have tripped over that crack on the sidewalk, as I look back.

“Klutz,” I mutter to myself and lookup and Kayla is nowhere in sight. I just kept thinking why Erica would ever do that to her?

Suddenly I feel someone lift me up bridal style and realize I was still on the ground and I look up and see Liam, but there is three of him. I must have hit my head when I fell.

“Looks like you’ve got banged up, love” Liam says. I nodded weakly and I feel a quick breeze and vaguely see Sully running in Kayla’s direction. Shouting back “I’ll get her!” That’s the last thing I remembered when my eyes fluttered shut.

***** A hour and half later*****

I woke up to the sound of something rushing around me… more like some things. When I look up and notice I’m in my living room of my house on the couch. And there are two guys in there too.

“Genna” I hear someone say and recognize he voice belongs to, Niall.

I let out a weak whimper, “Hmm”

“Liam come quick. SHE’S ALIVE!” he yells across the room. I soon hear shuffling into the room and hear Liam say “ Drink this is will make you feel better!” He hands me a glass with some sort of orange liquid in it. I take a sip and quick spit it out therefore landing on Niall.

“EWW, it taste like peaches” I yelled while trying to get the taste out of my mouth.

“Peach hater I see” Niall said while wiping the peach tasting liquid off him.

“OHMYGOSHWHERESKAYLA, DIDYOUFINDHER, ISSHEOKAY, ISANYONEWITHHER!” I exclaim.

And the two boys tilt their heads like lost puppies.

"You don't remember Sully chasing after her right after you fell and you hit your head" said Liam

"Oh, yeah." I reply shyly and Liam jerks his head to the kitchen which was a signal for N iall to head there.

“You hit your head pretty hard, you know” said Liam while sitting down next to me.

“My whole bo..dddy hurts and  my head hurts the most. Can you give me a asprin?” I said stuttering. When he walks away to get the medicine my eyes quickly close again and I am out like a light.

Liam’s POV

When I walk into the room to go give Genna her medicine and I look down to see her precious little body fast asleep.

“Genna” I say while nudging her, she didn’t budge I did his a matter of at least six times and realized she’ll be fine in a half hour. So I lift her light body up and carry her up the stairs to her room, ‘wow’ I thought to myself when I set her down lightly on her bed. Her room was average sized, with a desk and a scrap book reading ‘memories.’

I soon open it and the first page and see Kayla and Genna when they were about 8 or 9 years old with mud all over them. I giggled to myself and kept turning the pages and there I saw the same two girl surfing, swimming, nails, tanning, jumping on a trampoline, laughing, at a club, horseback riding, and shooting rifles then about the next 5 pages are full of Genna and Kayla singing with a sign above saying ‘karaoke night.’

Something made me keep flipping through the pages and again I stopped and for the second time when there were at least 15 pages of Genna dancing, and wow was she flexible and good, there were pictures of her jumping, leaping, turning, spinning! I never remember her saying anything about dancing, why did she never tell me about this?

 I jump when I hear Genna toss and turn in her bed and she settled back down, so I turn back and I soon turn a few more pages and see ‘Genevieve & Kayla 4ever’ I thought, Genevieve, that must be her real name and Genna is her nickname, Genevieve I such an adorable name, why would she want to be called Genna?

And again I stop and nearly dropped the book at what I saw. Genna or should I say Genevieve, and Kayla, with Daniel and……………………………. SULLY!  The two boys were kissing the girls on their cheeks and of course that was when Genna and Daniel were dating and im assuming Kayla and Sully were too. Oh, my, gosh, we left Kayla with Sully!

Within 4 seconds I call Louis and he picked up and that’s when everything went terribly wrong….

“Hello?”

“Louis!”

“What, what is wrong!”

“WHERES KAYLA!”

“With Sully, why?”

“She may be hurt!”

“WHAT HOW!!!!??”

“Sully is her ex!”

“Oh, my…“ he was then cut off by Liam.

“Find her. NOW!”

The line went immediately went dead.
