Chapter 7

(1 day before wedding)

Tris P.O.V

I walk down the apartment stairs, into the kitchen. I grab the eggs and start cooking. As I am taking the fryer off the stove Tobias's arms snake around my waist.

"Hello." He says

"Why hello!" I say. I turn my head and look him in his eyes. He goes to kiss me but I pull away.

He gives me a pouty lip. "What was that for?" He asks

"My mother alway told me that the groom isn't aloud to kiss the bride until their wedding day." I tell him.

"We have before" he says with his puppy dog eyes.

"Yes but that was before we were 1 day away from the wedding!" I say a little to harsh

"I'm sorry baby I didn't mean to upset you. I just wanted a morning kiss." He tells me.

"No it is my fault." I tell him. " I am letting the stress of the wedding get to me. I'm also a little freaked out about a phone call I received yesterday..." I start saying but immediately stop.

"What phone call?" He wonders.

"We'll I got a call from.... Umm.. Caleb.. He said that he would be at the wedding." I tell him "and that Jeanie is coming!"

"Why didn't you tell me? If we are going to get married I need to know that I can trust you and know that you won't keep secrets from me!!" He says

"I'm sorry he said that if I told anyone about Jeanie still being alive and coming he was going to hurt you! I can't let that happen Tobias!" I tell him

He stared at me for a couple of seconds and then kissed me.

"I'm sorry Tris. But knowing Jeanie will be there scares me! She tried to kill you! But you should have let me know. You wouldn't be so scared."

"I know but his threat about hurting you worried me! I am sorry that I didn't tell you. Do you forgive me?"

"Of course!" He answers

"I love you" I tell him

"I love you too" he says

"I love you more!"

"I love you most" he says and kisses me on the cheek.
