You were a very shy girl. I mean like really, really shy. You know that one girl that sits in the back of the class and doesn't talk to anyone? Yeah, that's you, only ten times worse.
So when your mentor Black Canary said you should join the Young Justice League, you immediately said your answer. No. But she would not take no for an answer.
1st person
So we agreed that I would be on the team for at least a month, then if I didn't like it I could quit.
So as I sit here in the watchtower thinking over my choices... why did I even become a superhero? I don't really know, maybe because it looked fun. Or I just wanted to save people-
My thoughts were cut off by a hand on my shoulder. I flinched, not really used to having human contact. I looked up to see the person like my brother, Nightwing.
Black Canary introduced us a few years back when she was talking to Batman in the Batcave. "Y/n, I presume Canary finally convinced you to join the team?" He asked, with a cocky smile on his face.
"Well, um, something like that Wing," I said quietly, my shyness starting to kick in. Even if I've known the person for a long time, I still get very shy around them.
Dick smiled at my shyness, he stood up from his kneeling position, taking my hands and standing me up with him. "Well N/n, I think you'll like the team." He said leading me to a room that has the WHOLE team in it.
I immediately turned around trying to walk away from everyone. But Nightwing's grip tightened, pulling me back in front of him. "Everyone, this is Y/n or H/n. Y/n this is Jamie, Megan, Conner, Kaldur, L'Gann, Artemis, Wally, Garfield, Karen, Cassie, and Bart. And of course, you know Batgirl and Robin already." I stared at all of them as he introduced them, but as he said Bart's name my eyes froze on him. He has beautiful brown hair and green eyes.
I meekly waved when he noticed me staring. He smiled a pretty smile and it made my heart swoon. Boy, was this gonna be an amazing team.
