16. Why?

Jungkook's PoV

I press a small button and the elevator slowly starts to open. Me and Taehyung both enter, I'm really nervous. The elevator was slow, but after a few minutes we finally got to the other floor. As we get out of the elevator, I am amazed by how the place looks. Sure, it looks like a dark old room, but really fancy. It had a chandelier hanging from the center of the room. But most importantly, Jimin was here, and probably so was Mai. Tae started crying, but knowing him, those were happiness tears. He ran towards Jimin and hugged him tightly. I see Jimin whispered something to Taehyung and then Taehyung nodded and stopped hugging him. Jimin then pointed at a door while looking at me. I wasn't really understanding what he meant but I went to the door. I opened the door... I was heartbroken because of what I saw. My brother was kissing Mai... wait... he wasn't kissing her, he was sucking blood from her lip. "Get away from her!" I screamed. "Jungkook" I heard Mai whisper. She was crying when I got here but now I could see a smile on her face. "Well, well, if it isn't our dear Jungkook...." Junghyun said smirking. "Get. away. from. her." I repeated. "What if I don't" He said and at that moment I realized I really had no plan. He chuckled "I'm stronger than anyone here Kookie." "Don't call me that...." I said but he just smirked. "Why, after all, I am your brother~" I was angry. I can't believe he was still acting like that. "You're not my real brother" I said. I then see Jimin and Taehyung come into the room with guns. "Stay away from them" they say. He just chuckled. "Why did you do this? WHY?!" I said. "Oh But don't you get it, she's Taehyung's biological sister, she's an adopted girl, a wolf, who was also turned into a vampire, her blood is the key to immortality!" Junghyun said. We were all shocked. "Wh-what?" I say. Mai lowered her head "I didn't know until Junghyun told me...." she mumbled. I was about to say something but Tae and Jimin shot him. Junghyun fell unconscious. "What did you guys do?! I needed to know what happened! Why was he doing that! WHY DID YOU GUYS SHOOT HIM?!?!?!" I said furiously. "You idiot! If he took more blood from Mai he wouldn't be able to die!" Jimin said. I sighed "You're right...." I then started untying Mai from the chair. When she was finally free, I hugged her. I started crying "Mai, my love.... I'm sorry I didn't find you earlier...." I whisper. "It's fine Kookie, I'm glad you found me" I saw Tae smile and ya and then he left the room, with Jimin. I kissed her, passionately, I missed her, I felt like I was finally complete again. She kissed back, I felt my whole world light up, I loved her so much, I really did. "I love you" I whispered. She smiled and looked into my eyes "I love you too" she said. I softly caressed her cheek. "You're cute" I said. She chuckled slightly "I'm not cute" she said pouting cutely. I pecked her lips, we then walked outside of the room. "So, what did Jimin whisper to you, Tae" I asked. "He told me we needed to attack so both him and Mai could leave, and well, you know, I have to make sure my Jiminie is safe and happy so I decided to help him attack." Tae explained. "Ohhhh" I say, he nodded. "Well, let's go home now" Mai said smiling. I smiled "Okay, let's go" I say, we went out of the place. Tae opened a portal to his house and him and Jimin went in. Mai was about to leave but I grabbed her wrist softly. "Please stay for a while longer" I say to her. She nodded. "Okay, but just for tonight" she said. "Okay" I say, I smiled, she's so beautiful, I'm so lucky to have a girl like her, I'll never let anyone take her away from me ever again, I promise.
