17. Together Forever

~3 years later~

Mai's PoV

It's been 3 years since me and Jungkook started dating. 2 weeks ago he proposed marriage to me, and of course, I said yes. Jimin and my brother got married almost a year ago, it was so cute. I went with my friends to the mall a few days ago, and we got my wedding dress. I'm so excited, today is finally the day, after a long time, I'm finally getting married to the man I love. I was getting my hair and makeup done. I'm so nervous!

Jungkook's PoV

Finally, my dreamed day with Mai, our wedding. Everything will hopefully go as planned, tonight will be magical. I put on my suit and the boys wished me the best of luck, standing right besides me was Jimin, my best man.

I waited on the isle for Mai, my dear soon to be wife. Soon she walked in, her brother walking on her side. I tried to hold the tears back but I couldn't, she was just so beautiful. Right there she was in front of me, her eyes with that cute little glimmer and that pretty smile, I was really lucky to have her.

"Do you, Jungkook, take Mai as your beloved wife, and promise to love her, honor her, and cherish her?" The priest asked. "I do" I answered.

"And do you, Mai, take Jungkook as your beloved husband, and promise to love him, honor him, and cherish him?" He then asked. "I do" She answered, in her eyes i could see the love and honesty in those words. Soon the ceremony was over and the party started.

Tae got up and raised the glass of champagne. "I would like to make a toast for my dear sister and my new brother in law" He started "Mai, my sweet lil sister, you have always been so kind and loving, I am lucky to have you as my sister, just as much as Jungkook is lucky to have you as his wife. And as for you Kook, you have been like a brother for me, never thought you'd actually become one, but here we are and I couldn't be happier about it. You both deserve so much love and seeing this beautiful relationship flourish has been truly amazing. I wish you both the best in this marriage." He said and sat down. Mai was in tears already, and I was truly moved by the speech as well.

After a lot of fun that night, with the boys being as chaotic as always, we finally finished the party and went home to grab our things and leave for our honeymoon. I felt like this was all a dream but her soft kisses were the thing that made me realize that this was real, as not even the best imagination could create such heavenly feelings. We got to the hotel and just lied down together in bed. "I love you" She said to me in a tired voice, her eyes staring right into mine. "I love you too my dear" I said. I kissed her forehead and fell asleep, knowing that even with all the bad things in this world I had all I needed, and it was my dear Mai.
