It's Complicated

♡ Chapter 1~The Unexpected ♡

"Hey watch where you are going." Someone growled. I looked up to see Ryan with his same old smirk plastered across his face. He is my arch enemy or aka my bully. I mentally rolled my eyes to see his presence. However, in reality, I was paralyzed, I was too scared to even move from the position I was in. I glanced down to see my books scattered all across the floor. No matter how much effort I tried to do to get my books off the ground, it seemed like I was completely invisible, due to everyone stepping over my books. Once I finally gathered all my books, I tried to escape from being in Ryan's view, so I went to my locker "Hey where do you think you are going?" Ryan asked me, before I could reply he stood in my way as I tried to open my locker. "So where is my math homework at?" Ryan asked with a smirk. It took me a minute before I could finally get the words out of my mouth. "I didn't do it." I mumbled not looking at him

"What?" Ryan asked raising his voice a little. "I didn't do it" I said once more afraid of how he is going to respond. Soon he pressed his body against my body against my locker. He whispered in my ear causing goosebumps to appear everywhere on my body,"You better have it tomorrow or you'll regret not doing it." He said before him and his friends walked off. It took a minute before I could feel it was safe for me to move. Once I gathered my books and shut my locker the bell rang signaling it was time for our first academic class which for me was drama class.

"Ok class settle down everyone and take your seat's." Mrs.Johnson the drama class teacher said.I was located in the front row,so that's where I went. My eyes connected with Ryan's, which caused me to daze out. A smirk appeared on his face as he saw I was looking at him. My cheeks turned a light pink and I took my seat. "Ok students today everyone will be assigned partners for the couple project which will show you what it is like to be in a relationship and such."Mrs.Johnson said finishing there.

The class looked like they didn't understand. "Ok well let's begin sha'll we.." Mrs. Johnson said. She began calling names off this list and my name hadn't gotten called yet which began to make me feel anxious and worried. "Last but not least, Megan and Ryan." Mrs.Johnson said with a smile. I glanced over at Ryan to see a smirk like always, it felt like there was a big not in my throat. "Ok students, things aren't just going to happen themselves, pair up with your partners." Mrs.Johnson said before she walked to her desk, I gulped and walked over to where Ryan was but the bell rung. "Thank god." I mumbled to myself. "Ok class looks like we will have to pick up on this tomorrow, class is dismissed." Mrs.Johnson said as everyone began to flood into the hall. "My house after school." I heard Ryan whisper into my ear as he passed me. My eyes got locked onto his blue eyes for that moment. It gave me chills. "Um Mrs.Johnson can I get a new partner?" I asked her "Why?" She asked curouisly. "Because.. I don't thin me and Ryan are going to work out." I muttered. "Well who knows, you'll never know until you try." Mrs.Johnson said with a slight smile.

*Skip the day*

I couldn't stop staring at the clock for some reason. it was 7th period, and I was just ready to ho home. The bell finally rang signaling it was time to go. Before Mr.Morgan could even say class was dismissed, everyone rushed out of the door. I just walked slow due to I had nothing really planned. Once I reached outside, I took a seat on one of the benches and texted my mom.

To:Mom

I have school project to do at a friends house, but I'll try to be home by 9.

I pressed send Once I was done. I felt someone looking at me. I glanced up to see blue eyes and guy with brown hair. "What?" I asked Ryan. "Are you going to come or what?" He said with annoyance in his voice. I rolled my eyes and followed him to his car. It was a black mustang. I was assuming he was going to open my door for me, but what am I thinking, it's Ryan. I excorted myself and opened the door and got in. The ride was silent the whole time to his house. Once we finally arrived it was huge of course, because he is rich. It was practically a mansion, but it was beautiful.

Once Ryan could finally find the house key we got in. "Mom It's me!: Ryan yelled. Someone yelled back ok. I followed him into the kitchen where a lady was, she looked around 30 years of age. "Mom I'm going to be in my rom because I have a school project to do." Ryan said. "Ok, who is this beautiful young lady?" The lady said looking at me, I blushed a little at her comment. "Oh I'm Megan." I said with a slight smile. "Nice to meet you Megan, I'm Margot." She said returning the smile. "Ok well we are going upstairs into my room for our school project." Ryan said trying to escape from his mom. "Ok don't do anything, but if ya'll do use protect-" His mom was about to say. "Mom!" Ryan yelled feeling embarrassed as his face turned red. "I'm just kidding!" She said with a laugh. I laughed on our way up the stairs. 'I'm sorry about her... she can be embarrassing at times." Ryan told me. "It's fine." I said still laughing. "Um soo..." He said as we arrived into his room as everything was silent. "Well I'm not really good at relationship stuff" I muttered. Everything went silent again. Our eyes locked once again. You could get lost into his blue eyes and I was. I could see he was leaning in. I panicked and just stood up. I was just lost at words. "He's the school's bad boy/player."

I began to remind myself. "Um, look at the time." I said. It was 8:30 pm. "Um can you drive me home?" I said, I could see he was kinda hurt by me not kissing back, but he nodded saying yes. It was kinda weird, when I looked into his eyes, I saw behind his badboy personality.
