Ryan's P.O.V

I just felt someones lips crash against mines and I didn't know who. I heard a loud crashing sound and turned around to see Megan with tears in her eyes. I glanced back to see Ashley, my ex. I was lost a words, but I gathered the courage to yell Megan's name. But she didn't glance back, she was just running as fast as she could. And she was out of sight in a matter of seconds around a corner. "Why did you do that!" I turned around and yelled at Ashly "If I can't have you no one can." She said with a smirk. The bell rang signaling it was time for our first academic class. Megan wasn't there, and I was there on my own. After Mrs.Johnson told everyone to get with your partners I was the only one not with mine's. "Ryan where is your partner?" She asked. "She's just running late." I muttered

Megan's P.O.V

I had to walk home due to my parents were still at work, which they always are. "Luke stop being a slow poke!" I yelled as we were leaving the campus. "Well someone is sassy" He said. I shoved gently at his shoulder. "Ok,so tell me about your self" He began to say as we started walking. "Ok, well I am not really a special person." I muttered. "Oh come on, everyone is special" He told me with a smile. I blushed a little and then cleared my throat. "Well, My name is Megan Grace, I am the only child, I love to sing, and I am a horrible dancer." I said with a laugh. "Ok well my name is Luke Miller, I have 2 siblings a older sister and a younger brother. I love to play the guitar. And sometimes I can act retarded" He said with a smile

I returned the smile but the conversation grew silent, until Luke decided to speak. "Um..so.. I was thinking one of my friends is throwing a party at his beach house tonight and I was wondering if you would like to come?" He managed to say "Sure what time?" I asked "I'll come pick you up around 7 just make sure to wear something nice." He said with a wink "Ok well see you tonight then" I said with a laugh, once we reached my house we went out seperate ways. As I retreated up to my room, there was still no sight of my parents. I went to my bathroom and decided to take a shower in the process of getting ready. After I exited my bathroom I began to scramble through my closet looking for something decent to wear. I decided on a white dress along with some black heels and put on some mascara along with some lipstick. Before I left I glanced at myself one last time in the mirror. I let a slight sigh escape. I glanced at my clock that sat on a table that was located at my bedside. It glowed showing 7:00 pm. I heard a faint car honk and I walked downstairs to meet Luke out. Once I arrived to his car his facial expression turned pale. I began to grow nervous and decided to speak," Are you ok? is there something wrong?" His facial expression turn back to normal telling me he snapped out of his daze. He cleared his throat as he spoke,"Of course not you just look so am - so gorgeous ." He said as he finally found the words. I showed a smile and my cheeks turned a rosey red. He cleared his thought and hurried to come excort me into his car by opening the passenger door for me. "Thank you " I said with a smile as I got in.

I glanced around to see lights flashing and cars everywhere. "Were here." Luke said glancing at me as he put his car in park. My face turned a bit pale as I saw all the faces pass by.
