I am not in existence since the beginning of life. I am new to mankind. On the other hand, from the place where I am standing today, I can say I am familiar enough to many lives that are surviving on this planet.

I am terrifying, they say. But I consider myself as versatile. I always get interested in humans; their pain, their occasional smiles, and their untimely deaths. But sometimes humans captivate me with their nature. This stuck to me when I first saw her. That ten-year-old girl almost got me with her courage.

There was something in Radha Chaturvedi that stopped me from being myself. She impressed me from the very first day I came for her.

'Take her safely Pavan,' the head of the orphanage, Mr.Rajendra insisted.

A girl and our main character of this story, Radha, stood beside him with a water bottle in her hand and a Micky mouse-shaped bag swung over her back. Her luggage was in front of her packed and done.

'Safely,' Rajendra said again, placing a slip of paper in Pavan's hand.

'What's this?' asked Pavan.

'Address and the phone number of the person, who is waiting for you to deliver this little girl,' Rajendra said, chuckling.

Radha was afraid to leave. The orphanage was her home ever since she realized that she needs a place to live. She was eleven years old- young and beautiful. 'You are going to a better place and people there will take more care of you.' Rajendra said to her as many times as he could for the last month. She was not sure why they were so keen on sending her away. Frequently, she felt like they were trying to get rid of her.

Pavan folded the slip and placed it safely in his pocket. He didn't ask many questions. He smiled at Radha and attempted to take her luggage. She backed a few steps.

'It's okay,' Rajendra persuaded, 'Pavan is going to be your traveling companion until you reach this new place.'

She apologized and handed over her luggage to pavan. She was still not sure if she wanted to get into the car. Doubts invaded her. Questions were filled in her. But she got neither answers nor details.

Rajendra understood her unwillingness. He bent on his knees and said, 'you are going to a better place and people...'

'But they are strangers,' Radha retorted and entered into the car before Rajendra completed his common convincing sentence.

'Are you sure you are not going to tell me what's exactly my destination is?' Pavan inquired.

'You will find out!' Rajendra said and left.

'It seems this ends with both of us my lady. Shall we go?' Pavan said, bending over the window.

Radha didn't answer. She didn't even turn her face to pavan and be adjusted in the situation with a dull chuckle. And then their journey started to this so-called-new-place.

A quiet, sluggish, and boring half-an-hour journey completed and they had still a lot to go. Radha was sustaining a deadly silence and Pavan wasn't at all comfortable with it.

'Do you want to buy some chocolates?' he asked.

Not a word slipped from her tongue.

'Do you want to buy some chocolates?' he asked, again.

'I don't like chocolates,' she murmured.

'Well, what do you like then?'

'I wanted to go back,'
