Chapter 5

Two months later, Katie walked over from her house 3 doors from to help me set up for the party. We had lots of pink decorations and food set up around the house. When we were baking the night before, we used lots of pink food coloring since we are both having baby girls. Katie and I finished putting up the last few decorations and went to take showers and do our hair and makeup.

An hour later, we put the food out and had Carson put out to tables with pink table cloths, one for food and the other for gifts. We made sure all the food was out and that everything was perfect. When the guests arrived we welcomed them and told them how happy we are that they could make it. When every one was here, we played a few games, then ate dinner. After dinner, we brought out all three pink cakes for everyone to see, and showed them the baby rooms. When every one was done eating we started to open gifts.

I got a baby stroller for 2 babies from my parents plus a few teddy Beas and blankets, a cradle that Katie picked out for me, diapers and baby bottles from Vicky, and a lot of other stuff. Katie got a stroller and a cradle from her parents, plus a teddy bear, she got diapers and bottles and toys from her aunt, and a few blankets and more toys from Charlotte.

When the party was over, we thanked everyone for coming and for the gifts before we started to clean up. Our parents all stayed to help clean, and also to stay with us for a few days.

Since I've been pregnant for 5 months now, you can really see my baby bump, just like with Katie. When were done cleaning up, I thank Katie and her parents before walking them out the door and watching them walk over to Katie's new, beautiful home. I then thank my parents for coming and helping me clean up, and then I show them to their room.

Carson had the painters paint the one of the spare rooms light gray and the other white and the look great. Carson's and my room is white and I am going to be painting designs on it soon since painting and art have always been my passion and my love. I paint whenever I have free time.

Carson and my father put together the big gifts I got and my mother and I put the small ones together. When we're done we take them up to the baby rooms and I put them where I want them to go. A few days ago I picked out the cutest blinds for the windows, one is yellow with butterflies and the other is also yellow but with lady bugs.

Carson and I say good night to my parents and while Carson and I are watching tv together, we look through the list of eight baby names we were thinking of. 1. Karly 2. Kayla 3. Marley 4. Callie 5. Samantha 6. Amanda 7. Miranda 8. Victoria

We decide to take out Kayla, Samantha, Marley, and Amanda. Carson and I both decide to choose a name, so I choose Callie and Carson chooses Karly. Luckily, we both said that if the name we choose was already taken, we would have chosen the name that the other person choose, so we got both the names we wanted.

In the morning, Carson fixes omelets while I tell my parents about the two names we choose, and then I text Katie to tell her, and she said that she choose Macy for her daughters name.

I go to work to work on my day off, and tell her that I'm taking my maternity break now, and that when i com back, I will work for 3 weeks, but then I'm quiting unless I can get a part-time job. I want to have an art career even though I love animals, but it will give me more time to spend with my twins and art. After I talk to my boss and she says that its fine, i go home and tell Carson what i did about work. Luckily, Carson was not angry or upset because i had already talked to him and told him i was gonna quit which made him angry, but when he found out i was gonna try to get a part time jobe he was happier.

I started having contractions so Carson took me to the hospital, called my family and Katie, and called the dog watcher. The doctor broke my water, and gave me my epidural, and we waited.
