A Bull Mishap

Percy's P.O.V

It was a normal day. I was at the Posiden table with Tyson and Grover. Suddenly there was a 'Boom'! The whole ground shook and my apple juice fell over. Suddenly again 'Boom'! I was standing up now and looking around. Chiron started trotting out of the pavilion and I followed with the rest of the camp. We followed Chiron and found our selves near the edge of camp where Thalia's tree was. Out of nowhere a huge amount of force hit the force field and we all backed up. Again 'Boom'! Shaking the field. Beside me my friend Grover said "it's chill. There's no way any thing can break through that barrier". There was an echoing 'Boom'! and the force field broke. Revealing a metal bull at the top of the hill. Annabeth gasped "an chalcos bull!" "good to know" said Grover "but, RUN!!!" like that we all turned around and ran down the hill. I was running as fast as I could when I heard someone scream behind me. I turned just in time to see a boy ,I believe his name is Dillon, being thrown by the bull and landing behind him. I keep running. Suddenly to my left Annabeth cries out in pain as she is thrown to the side. I dodge the bull and run to her side. I help her and we start to run. We duck behind a building and the bull runs through hitting me in the shoulder and almost trampling me with its hooves. I scramble to my feet just in time to see Clarisse jump on its back like in a rodio. I turn and start running toward the nearest weapon rack and and grab a grappling hook. I turn towards the bull and I see a Clarisse fly of the bull's back and hit the ground. It's about to charge at Clarrise when I see Tyson jump in the way. Tyson grabs on to the bulls horns and pushes. The bull stops just feet from Clarrise. Suddenly the automaton shoots fire right in Tyson's face! The fire died and Tyson was fine. Not a scratch! "Bad bull" says Tyson. A huge battering comes out of nowhere and hits it right in the face. I turn and tie the end of the chain from the grappling hook to stand near by. I turn and see the bull running. I know this is my chance! I throw the hook with all my might and it attaches to the bull's leg. But the stand wasn't strong enough! The chain flew along the ground and by accident I went along too. I tried getting the chain off my wrist but I couldn't. Suddenly I flew up over the bull and landed hard ,rolling free of the chain. The bull charged and I moved up against the wall. The bull was getting closer and its horns hit the wall. It moved back and a crazy saw machine came out of its head! I fumbled for Riptide in my pocket. The saw thing slammed into the wall and I dodged it barely. I looked up and threw my sword into the bull's mouth but not before I clicked the top. As Riptide flew farther into the bull I saw it expanding and turning into a 3 foot long sword. I got to my feet while watching my sword pierce the heart. The bull exploded sending me back wards. I hit the ground my vision foggy. When my vision cleared I sat up and saw someone standing over me. It was Luke. "Hello Percy", said Luke. "Good to see ya." I got to my feet and picked up my sword. Luke said "you know if you try to drown someone you should make Shore they can't swim." I gritted my teeth but didn't say anything. "I see you're still alive. Must be the prophecy." This took me by surprise. "Prophecy?" I asked. "What prophecy?" He smiled cruelly. "Don't tell me Jackson. Chiron didn't tell you about the prophecy?" He laughed. "Well you can add that to the list of things he hasn't told you." He slipped something out of his pocket and I saw a bottle full of a blue liquid. "You'll know what this is soon. You'll find out soon." He smirked and disappeared in a flash of green light.

Annabeth's P.O.V

I was frantic! I had looked every where but couldn't find Percy. I saw Chiron and asked him "have you seen Percy?" From behind I heard "last time I saw him he was being dragged away by a chalcos bull." I turned around and saw Clarrise walking away. I was about to go look for Percy when I thought I smelt something. I turned toward the smell and saw a horrible sight. Thalia's tree was dying! All of its needles were brown and falling of. Chiron moved closer and smelt something. "It's poison." He said grimly. I knelt at the feet of the tree and didn't care everyone was watching. I picked up the last green needle from the ground and said "it feels like she's dyeing all over again." I felt a hand on my shoulder and saw it was Grover. I smiled weakly and asked "who would do this?" From somewhere in the crowd a voice said "Luke did it." I turned around to see Percy standing gingerly on his right leg with a grim expression. "Percy!" I said running and hugging him. He weakly smiled at me. "Luke did this he was here at camp just talked to me." I could feel the uneasiness in the group ,but asked any ways. "Luke was here when?" Percy replied "yep he was here about 5 minutes ago." Chiron asked "how do you know it was him? for all we know you could have done it." Percy looked vey indigent but replied calmly "he showed me a bottle full of blue potion and he said 'you'll know what this is soon. You'll know what this is soon.'" Suddenly Chiron said "go back to cleaning up camp." And with that Chiron turned around leaving me glaring at Chiron angrily.
