~The next day~

Your sitting at your desk writing down some information about the blue hedgehog you just killed.

My best freind is gone...

No! It's for your own good.

Horrifying images scattered throughout your mind, frightening you with every thought. You could be somewhere else right now, instead of killing people for money. You could have a regular job, a supportive family, and a lover to stick by you through hard times.

Instead your stuck here, with no family and no one to love you.

Someone then knocks on the door, asking to come in politely. You hear the door creak open very slowly and see little eyes peek out of the door.

You: Chip?

Chip: Hi (Y/N). What's the matter? Need a hug?

He then flys over to you and wraps his arms around your neck, trying to cheer you up. He let's go and looks at you with a worried and caring look. You hated hiding all these secrets from him, but if you ever told him, who knows what would happen.

You sigh and start talking.

You: I'm fine Chip. I'm tired from all that work from yesterday. My boss made me stay late, because of some unfinished assignments. Thanks for caring Chip.

Chip was your best buddy, and your roommate. He was friendly and loved to hang out with you. Whenever you needed assistance with anything, he was your sidekick.

Chip: Oh, ok! I just really hate seeing you sad and all. It makes me feel sad too.

You smile at him lovingly and hug him once more. He was so adorable!

Chip: Hold on, I have something for you! Just gimme a sec...

You see him fly off to go get something and he comes back a few seconds later.

Chip: Here! I brought you some chocolate! It's your favorite!

You take a bite and relax as chip takes out another one and starts making munching on it. He went crazy, chocolate on his face everywhere. You giggled, but he just kept on eating. Both of you say there in the dark, eating your snacks in peace...

Chip, if you only knew...
