Soft jewels twinkle in your gaze
They leave me breathless
Your laugh is honey
Sweet and sharp as it escapes your smile
An aura of joy shines about you
Everyone can see it glow
When you are hurt, my heart aches
Your pain is undeserved
Veiled in darkness, you sparkle
You glow brighter than most though it covers you
Your touch is like a fire
Brightening my path and giving me comfort
As you lay your head on my shoulder
I lay mine on yours
