I hear Skylar yell "Alice a dressed up Remington is here to pick you up."I take deep breath and walk downstairs fixing my dress and I say "Skylar does this look good? I light up and I say "You don't think it's to-" "No it's perfect." I walk down the rest of he stairs and he smiles and meets me at the bottoms step and he picks me up and I laugh.
He smiles and kisses me and I kiss back and he says "Ready?" "I guess, I'm really nervous." Remington pulls me close to him and says "No need to be, you're perfect and she's gonna love you." I put my arms around him and he pulls me closer to him and I say "I don't know." Remington kisses me and I kiss back and we walk out to the car and he opens the door for me. I smile and get in and he closes the door for me and then gets in my car. He holds my hand and I smile and he heads to a fancy Italian restaurant and I'm super nervous. Remington slides his hand down my arm and moves his thumbs back and forth on my arm and says "Don't be nervous Chérie." I look at him then I feel him move his hand onto my shoulder-!: onto my back.
He moves his thumb back and forth and I say "You should be focused on driving." He says "I can do this and drive." I smile and I take a deep breath and says "Chérie please believe me everything will be fine." "I'm just nervous you know how I get." He says "I know but remember Chérie I'm here." He winks and I smile and laugh a little and he says "Calm down, after this we'll go to your place and cuddle all night." "No you're gonna have to go home-" "No moms going to stay with Emerson tonight after this." I shake my head okay and we get there.
We get out and I fix my dress and Remington's holding my hand and he sees me really nervous. Remington moves behind me and wraps his arms around me and says "Relax it's going to be fine, the only way something will go wrong is if you think to hard and cause it okay?" I shake my head okay and I take a deep breath and he kisses my cheek and says "Everything's gonna be fine." I shake my head and he says "I promise, afterwards we'll cuddle all night and if you want to I'll even sing." I smile and say "Okay, and you promise your mom is going to Emerson's?" "Yes she's staying with him a day or two than going to Sebastian's."
I shake my head and we go inside and Remington's moves and is holding my hand and we get seated. His moms already here and she says "You look beautiful Alice." I smile and say "Thank you." I blush and look down embarrassed, then we get asked what we like to drink and I order a Diet Coke. Than Stephanie says "So, Alice what do you like to do for fun?" I think and say "Well I like listing to music, and I like reading, uhh I sometimes draw. I don't really know different things." She shakes her head and says "What kind of music do you listen to." I blush and say "Well other than Remington's and your sons, Alternative, Rock, a little Punk and some more."
She keeps asking me questions and Remington says "Mom this isn't an interrogation." She stops and says "Sorry just trying to get to know Alice." I am looking down and I say "May I be excused?" "Of course." Stephanie says, I get up and set my napkin on the table and I walk to the bathroom. I close the door behind me and grab my phone out of my purse and I text Skylar.
M (Me) - "SKY!!!" S (Skylar) - "WHAT?! WHAT'S GOING ON?!" M- "His mom is like interrogating me and I don't know what to say!" S - "Calm down dude, it's gonna be fine. Where are you at?" M - "The bathroom......." S - "Okay, well stay in there a few more minutes than head back out and keep staying calm and let Remington handle some of the conversation." M - "Okay, okay thank you." S - "That's what I'm here for." M - "Yeah well bye." S - "Bye."
I take a couple deep breaths and someone walks in and I look over and I look down and grab my purse. I walk back to the table and Remington smiles at me and I sit down. He smiles and says "Hey." I smile and say "Hi." I put my purse on the side of my chair and Remington and his mom start talking and I look down. Are food gets here and I start eating my Fettuccine Alfredo and. We are talking and I am trying hard not to make a stupid answer than she says "So what where your parents like?" "Well my mom ran out on me when I was young and my dad was amazing, he was perfect he raised me not to judge and to be who I am and to joke around about a lot of stuff."
Remington says "Alice, what's wrong?" I feel him wipe a tear off my cheek and I say "Yeah fine." He is holding my hand and I shake my head and smile and say "The foods delicious." His Mom agrees and Remington stars joking around and I'm smiling holding back my sadness.
**************At Alice's House************
Me and Remington walk inside and he closes he door and he slides a hand onto my waist and says "Hey, you never told me that about your family." I put my left overs in the fridge and Remington follows me and I turn around and he wraps his arms around my waist. I put my forehead on his chest and say "I know, Remington you haven't asked so I wasn't gonna bring in up." He pulls me close to him and I say "I'm gonna go change." Remington says "Want me to go home?" "No, please stay." He shakes his head and says "Okay, go change I'll be down here." I shake my head okay.
I walk upstairs and change into this

I walk downstairs and I see Remington sitting on the couch and he took his jacket off and I walk over embarrassed. He smiles and says "You look amazing." I blush and walk over and I sit in his lap, I say "Can we go cuddle?" "Yeah where?" "M-my bedroom." I get up and he gets up and we walk upstairs and he says "You sure?" "Yeah." We walk into my room and I lay down and I say Remington can take his shirt off so he does and I say say "I can't sleep in these sweatpants one second." I stand up and put on black pajama shorts.
I'm on my Side with my back to when he moves and wraps his arms around me. He bends his body to where mine fit into his and he kisses my cheek and I yawn and say "Thank you." "Your welcome Chérie." He has his head on top of mine and he holds me close to him. I slowly fall asleep feeling Remington's body agents mine and it makes me feel relaxed. Like I'm being protected and I'm safe, we have the blankets over us. I close my eyes and fall asleep perfectly for the first time for almost two weeks.
