Mom: part 1

Alice

***************3 Weeks Later*************

I wake up to Remington moving and I mumble
"Slytherin."
"I'll be back in a couple days Chérie-"
"No lay back down-"
"I can't sleep Vampire Princess. I have to go, I love you and I'll talk to you soon." I say
"Kiss." I feel Remington's lips on mine and I wrap my arm around his neck and I kiss him back. I slide my fingers into his hair and I say
"I love you too." He kisses my neck then says
"Talk to you later Vampire Princess."
"Talk to you later Vampire Prince." He leaves and I snuggle with his pillow then go back to sleep.

**************A Few Hours Later*********

I wake up and I take a hot shower and I listen to NYD, MIW, and BVB. I am singing along when my ring tone starts going off. I finish up quickly then get out and wrap a towel around me and I call whoever back then Sky says

S (Skylar) - "Hey, sorry Alice I have to go on travel for the next week."
M (Me) - "Oh, well have fun on your work trip."
S - "Okay, sorry talk to you later."
M - "Okay bye."
S - "Bye." I hang up and my music keeps playing, I might as well get my hair rested since I have nothing else to do today. I walk out and I get dressed in this

I leave and I head to the salon. I sit down and wait till it's my turn to get my hair done.

Remington POV

I'm in the car with Sebastian when I say
"Why didn't Emerson have to come?"
"Because he had to stay home with mommy dog and his and it was last minute so we couldn't get anyone to animal sit."
"Yeah true." We keep talking and I'm gonna call Alice later.

Alice POV

I get back to my house and I just finished getting my hair done and this is how it turned out

I finish eating my lunch and my phone goes off, and it's my sister....I haven't talked to her in years. I slowly answer the phone

M (Me) - "Hello?"
R (Rachel) - "Hey, uhh I have something important to tell you."
M - "Rachel, what do you need?"
R - "Uhh well-"
M - "What?"
R - "Mom died." I freeze, I feel my throat close and my breathing become quicker. I try to speak but nothing comes on, I have tears swelling up in my eyes and I say
M - "W-w-wh-what?"
R - "Y-Yeah, 10 minutes ago......" I hear her start crying and I put my hand over my mouth trying to stay calm.
R - "I have to make more calls, I'll send you the details on the funeral-"
M - "How? H-how did she die?"
R - "H-heart attack."
M - "Oh my......"
R - "I'll send you more details about the funeral when they are made."
M - "Okay."

I hang up and I drop my phone and I fall to my knees and just stare at the ground in shock. I see a tear hit the ground and I feel my cheeks and I realize I have a river of tears sliding down my cheeks. I look down and keep crying and I don't know what to do. Remington and Sky are on travel, I call Emerson because he's the only one here.

E (Emerson) - "Hello?"
M (Me) - "Emerson, I Uhh I Gahhh nee-" I cant talk because how hard I'm crying and Emerson says
E - "Alice? What's wrong?"
M - "Mo-dea-nejsjdnfnfnd."
E - "Alice, take a deep breath and tell me what's wrong?"
M - "Come....over......please." I say in between my sobs.
"Of course I'll be right over." He hangs up and I curl in a ball crying my heart out.

Soon the door opens and Emerson walks in and he says
"Hey, Alice what's wrong?!" I look at him and he says
"What's wrong?" He helps me up and I keep crying and he says
"Hey shh it's okay." I wrap my arms around him and I cry into his chest and say
"Mom dead......Mom died." I repeat that and he says
"I'm so sorry." He holds me closer and I cry harder and he rubs my back trying to calm me down. Because I'm crying so hard I'm couching, he says
"Shhh Hey it's gonna be okay-"
"I haven't talked to her in years." He picks me up softly and sets me on the couch and he rubs my back and I finally calm down and I am on his chest. Emerson says
"Want to talk to Remington?" I don't answer.
"Need anything? Food, water?" I look at him and don't answer and I start crying again and he soothes me until I fall asleep on his chest.

Emerson POV

I have Alice asleep on my chest and I slowly move so I don't wake her. I call Remington and he picks up after a few rings.

M (Me) -Remington."
R (Remington) - "What? I'm about to call Alice-"
M - "It's about Alice."
R - "What?! Why?! Is she okay?!" He got louder and you can hear the worry, stress, and fear in his voice.
M - "Kind of-"
R - "What?!"
M - "She's physically okay, she's just emotional not-"
R - "What why?!"
M - "She found out her mom died-"
R - "Put her on the phone!"
M - "She's asleep on my chest no, she cried so hard and long she feel asleep."
R - "Fine!"
M - "I promise I'll take care of her. She means a lot to me because you love her and I've spent time with her okay? I promise I'll take care of her."
R - "Fine, bye."
M - "Bye." I hang up and I let Alice sleep.

Alice POV

I wake up on my back holding someone's arm, but it's not Remington's. I see Emerson sitting up letting me hug his arm and I sit up and say
"Sorry."
"No it's fine, feeling better?" I shake my head no and he hugs me and says
"I'm so sorry, I called Remington and we talked and he wants to talk to you." I shrug and say
"Fine." I fall Remington and I'm just I don't know, all I know is I'm breathing.

VP (Remington (Vampire Prince)) - "Hello?! Chérie?!"
M (Me) - "Yeah, hi."
R - "Oh my god Chérie I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry, I wish I could come home but I can't-"
M - "W-Why?!"
R - "If I do then we will for sure lose this producer and he's the only one who's offered to represent us." I starts crying and say
"I have to go." I hang up and I set my phone down and Emerson pulls me into another hug and I cry my heart out into his chest. He rubs my back and I cry until I start coughing and I have no tears left. Me and Emerson's phones keep going off but I can't do anything but cry and think about how badly I treated Mom.

We fought all the time till I moved out and then we stopped talking and never started again. Now she's dead! And we never made up and I never get to talk to her again. All
I can think is how horrible of a daughter I was and how she deserves a better daughter. I keep thinking about all these horrible sad things while Emerson does everything he can to comfort me. I stand up and I walk into the bathroom looking down at the floor, Emerson asks what's wrong? I say I'm going to take a shower. He shakes his head and I go upstairs and he says he'll be downstairs. I close my bathroom door and I lock it and I go into my drawer and find my..........
