Why do we love? Is it so that we don't feel lonely? Is it because it's an emotion built in us? Is it mutual attraction? Is it that need to be loved? Why do we love? Because we want to be loved. To feel special as if you're the only person that matters to them.
Yet why do we get hurt? Why do we go through the pain? Why put up with the heartache? Because we want to be loved. No matter how much we get hurt we still want to be loved. We would rather feel love than feel lonely and empty.
That is why we love.
