Chapter Sixteen.
2 years later.
<Jaz POV>
Okay, me and Olly have been together for what seems like forever. He still flirts like ‘the day’. That day that he first kissed me. The most magical day of my life. Were married now! That was amazing... what else? Oh yeah we have a beautiful 5 month old baby girl called Sapphire, meaning: blue jewel. Her piercing blue eyes are like blue jewels; she was going to grow up to be like her dad... a heart breaker. “Alright baby girl?” (He still called me that, I didn’t mind at all) I stopped daydreaming and stood up. “Yeh...” I sighed as he kissed me. He pulled m close and gave me a cuddle. It’d been a while we’d had some us time. The moment was ruined by a cry. “Sapphire!” I walked into her room where she was trying to get up even though she wasn’t strong enough yet. “Hello!” I said with a smiley tone. She giggled... Olly always said her giggle was like mine... I guess it is kind of. I picked her up, swung her round and got her changed. I carried her to the front room where Olly gave her a cuddle. She was so cute and so alike to her dad. I made her bottle and handed it to Olly.
<Olly POV>
Jaz handed me Sapphire’s bottle. “Thanks babe...” Sapphire and Jaz were the two most beautiful girls ever. I fed Sapphire and changed her nappy. We were going out with Bella (who has a 2 year old baby boy called Austin... meaning: useful... hopefully he’s got it off his mother!) and Niall. They were still our best friends along with Caroline and Matt (who are getting married next summer!) everything seems to be working out for the best. Jaz had gone to get ready so I put Sapphire in her play cot and went to find her. I knocked on the bedroom door. “Come in!” I pushed the door open and she was styling her hair. She stood up and I pulled her to the bed, kissing her in the process. We lay there for a bit just hugging. We act like we’re teenagers sometimes... got to have that element of fun in a relationship haven’t you? She got ready and we left to meet Niall and Bella with Sapphire in her pram and me pushing her. “Hey Bella!” Jaz was on the phone. There was a pause. “Okay we’ll be there soon. See you in a bit!” she hung up. “You’re in luck! We’re going to Nando’s!” she said laughing. “Yes!” she picked Sapphire up as we got there. She sorted Sapphire out and handed her to me. She was a wonderful mum. The new Mummy Murs.
<Bella POV>
We sat at our table waiting for Jaz Olly and baby Sapphire. Austin was tapping my leg. “Mummy!” I looked down “yes Austin?” I bent down and gave him a hug. “I'm hungry!” I muttered to myself “you’re just like your dad.” I got him some colouring to do “we just have to wait for aunty Jaz and uncle Olly.” Saying this they walked through the door. “Jaz! Hey!!!” I got up and hugged her. “Bella! Hey! Hello Niall... how have you been Bella? Feels like ages since we last spoke!” I hugged her again. “I’m fine. How are you? Austin hang on I'm talking to aunty Jaz!” Austin was grabbing my skirt. “I’m fine... I think you’d better sort Austin out!” I sat him down with some colouring. “Hey Olly!” he looked up from Sapphire “Aw-right Bella?” he gave me a wink. “Yeh thanks you?” he nodded and carried on his conversation with Niall. “Sapphire is gorgeous Jaz!” I had never met Sapphire. Jaz was playing with Austin. “Peek-a-boo! Oh thanks! This little cutie is too adorable! Just like his mum!” I laughed... “You know me crazy as anything!” we ordered our food (Niall and Olly gobbling it down as soon as it touched the table!) ate and went to meet Caroline while the boys went to watch the football with Matt. We gathered the kids and left for Caroline’s.
<Niall POV>
“Aw-right dude?” he sat down with Sapphire in his arms. “Yeh good buddy, bit tired from looking after this little one but I wouldn’t change her for the world.” Sapphire was gorgeous. “Believe me they learn to sleep. Well Austin did...” he sighed with relief. “What you been up to then?” I couldn’t wait to tell him this “One Direction are going solo for a year!” Olly handed Sapphire to Jaz. “No way... Dude that's awesome!” we talked for a bit and decided to go and meet Matt and watch the football while the girls met up.
<Caroline POV>
“Bye babes see you later!” Matt left to meet Olly and Niall. I tidied up as Austin and little baby Sapphire were coming round. I loved Austin he was so cute but I’d never met little Sapphire. We’ve been so busy we haven’t been able to meet up at all. There was a knock at the door. “AUNTY CARRIE!” I bent down. “Hello Austin!” I gave him a cuddle and carried him into the front room. I got Austin some of my niece’s spare toys out. “Where’s Sapphire? Can I see her?” I was getting way too excited. I was exactly the same when Austin arrived. Jaz picked her up and we all had a cuddle with her. “I’m so jealous of you both! I can’t wait to have kids! Jaz she’s gorgeous... definitely got Olly’s smile!” she took her back and rocked her to sleep. “Thanks Carrie! So have you talked to Matt about kids?” her and Bella were dying to find out. “Well I asked him last night and he seemed okay about it...” Bella stopped struggling with Austin. “What do you mean okay?” I looked at the floor. “He wasn’t that enthusiastic but I'm blaming it on his tiredness I'm going to ask him again tonight though.” Bella was fighting to get Austin to behave. “Austin... if you behave for mummy... Aunty Carrie has got a surprise for you but you can only have it if your good.” That made him behave. Sapphire was crying. “Carrie is it all right if I go and make her a bottle?” Jaz asked. “Sure; you know where the kitchen is!” Jaz took Sapphire through to the kitchen. “How’ve you been Bella?” she picked up Austin and sat on the sofa. “I'm alright, struggling though now he’s learning to talk!”I took him off her and rocked him to sleep. “Carrie you’d be a fantastic mum! I mean when you’re around Lux and Austin you can get them to sleep and to behave it’s just amazing!” I sighed. I so badly wanted kids. “You think so? I just want Matt to be enthusiastic about it.” She put Austin on my spare sofa to sleep and gave me a hug. “I’m sure he was just tired he has had a lot of work lately.” I nodded. “Carrie I need to take Sapphire home are you gonna be alright?” Jaz had come back in. “I’ll be fine” I said with a fake laugh but they bought it so I was off the hook.
<Matt POV>
I got into bed next to her. She was looking at the ceiling. “Are you alright babe?” she sighed, turned over to look at me and started playing with my hand. “Yeh I was just thinking about the future.” I pushed a strand of her hair out of her eyes. “What d’you mean?” she put her hand through my hair. “You know kids and stuff.” I think she was trying to say it as subtly as possible. “Babe let’s just get married first and then think about things like that.” She looked like she might cry. I know she’s always wanted kids but I’ve never been good with them. “Yeh, I'm just thinking too far ahead...” I pulled her closer to me. Pretending to be a sexy Italian man, sending her into fits of giggles. We finally snuggled down and started to drift off. “Caroline...” I heard a murmur “mmhhmm” “I love you.”
