Being on tour with Camila is one of my favourite things in the world. I love seeing her full of excitement when she's about to go on stage and I love cuddling her on the nights when she's exhausted. The worst thing is, no one even knows we're together.
When Camila was still in the band and Lauren came out as bisexual, Camila confided in me, her lesbian best friend, saying she's bisexual too. The only reason she hasn't told anyone is because she doesn't want everyone thinking she's copying Lauren and that it's just a phase.
She doesn't want to fuel the 'Camren' shippers into believing something's definitely going on between her and Lauren if the world knows they're both bisexual. Because Camren is not real. Limila is real though and has been for over six months. Lauren came out a year ago so I don't see why Camila can't now. The fans still love Lauren so why wouldn't they still love Camila too?
The problem with Camila is that she's too bothered about other people's opinions whereas I couldn't give a fuck. Not only has Camila not come out to the public, but she hasn't even told anyone close to her like her friends or people she works with. Not even Lauren, Dinah, Ally or Normani. I hate being her secret. But I love her too much to leave her.
Today, Camila had an extremely rare day off where we were left alone together on the tour bus. We spent the day cuddling, watching films and eating junk food until we felt sick then regretting it.
"Mila where are you?" I asked as I climbed out of the not so comfy bed.
The good thing about Camila being a solo singer is that her tour bus doesn't have bunks. It's got it's own bedroom complete with a double bed and it's right at the back of the bus so we're far away from the driver most of the time.
"In the freezer" Came a muffled reply.
Opening the door, I saw that Camila was literally in the freezer. Well, as much of her that would fit in the small compartment.
"Umm, what are you doing?"
"Trying to reach something"
"Here, let me get it. What do you want?"
"That thing with the blue and red wrapper"
"You mean the bread?" I asked as I grabbed the loaf easily.
"Who puts bread in a freezer?!" She laughed as though it wasn't normal.
"Um everyone does, Mila"
"Since when?"
A confused look spread across the younger woman's face as I struggled to hold back a laugh.
"It's so it lasts longer and doesn't go bad"
"But you can't eat frozen bread...Can you?"
This time I couldn't hold back my laugh. I laughed so hard, tears streamed down my cheeks and I had to hold my stomach.
"You're so dumb, it's cute"
"I'm not dumb" The Cuban pouted.
"Mhmm. You have to defrost the bread before you can eat it"
"How do you defrost it?"
"You take it out of the freezer..."
"Oh" Camila replied before joining in my laughter.
Her dimples melted my heart and sent butterflies from the pit of my stomach to my brain. This girl is driving me crazy and I'm falling deeper and deeper for her every single day.
