It had been a few days since Lena told you she kinda liked 'him' and you were still as confused as you could possibly be. It was friday night and everyone was having fun while you were just laying down in your bed, overthinking everything you could possibly overthink.
FRIDAY NIGHT, 8PM
Just as you open up the Netflix-app to binge watch Pretty Little Liars, you get a text from the last person you expected to text you; 'him'. He asks you if you wanna call and obviously you say yes, because that's just how naive you were. As you're on the phone with him he tells you all this stuff and you talk about the most random things together, until he decides to tell you he's been drinking beer for the past 2 to 3 hours. You tell him to slow down before he get's drunk, before his parents would see him 'drunk'. And ofcourse he couldn't help it, he just HAD to make a joke out of the situation. Before you can even blink he goes from basically sober to completely drunk. The dumb and naive person that you are, falls for it completely. You try to convince him to drink water as he keeps saying 'drunk' things, not realizing you're embarrassing yourself. After about 10 minutes you hear a loud laughing sound at the other end of the line, he just couldn't keep up the act anymore and laughed at you for minutes, he even kept laughing at you at school for a whole week. But for what? Because you cared? Because you're worried about the smallest things that could get him into trouble, even though he doesn't even like you like that and you haven't even thought about liking him as more than friends yourself.
For the rest of the night you felt so embarrassed, you felt so stupid, he just kept laughing and laughing and LAUGHING... Until you eventually told him you were tired and wanted to sleep. You both said your goodnight's and hung up. But after that you couldn't sleep for another 2 hours, you just kept overthinking what just happened. Until you eventually had to fall asleep, it was passed 2AM by now.
SATURDAY MORNING
You wake up and the first thing you do is check your phone for messages from 'him', but you're out of luck, not a single notification from him. So you just start your every saturday routine, which starts by getting out of bed and getting some coffee. As you're downstairs for barely 10 minutes, your parents have already told you to do ALL of your homework about 25 times. Besides, it's not like you've got anything better to do.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON
You're sitting on your bed with your books spread all over it, but you're scrolling trough social media because it's kind of impossible to do anything when your phone is around. All of a sudden you get the text you were waiting for since you woke up, it was nothing big or special... But he still texted you, which meant he missed you in some type of way... Right? You immediately drop everything else and start instant conversation with him. For a second you forgot what happened the night before, but ofcourse he was there to remind you of every detail of that night. And if you thought it couldn't get any better, guess what text came next? Don't know it? "Do you know Lena's number yet?", back to studying then I guess.
