"Paige?" Max's quiet voice rang throughout the almost empty apartment. "In the bathroom!" Paige yelled back. She heard the toilet flush and the bathroom door creak open.

"You're home already?" Paige's footsteps echoed through the living room. Max nodded and untied her shoes, leaving them in the closet next to the door. "Well come sit down I just got dinner going." Paige patted the seat on the couch, her long black hair is pulled into a bun by her other hand.

"Today is the anniversary of Maxine Cross' family vacation house burning down on her birthday. It is still unknown if she's alive today. If you see her please call the number on your screen." A picture of a girl with long brown hair and blue eyes flashed on the t.v. screen.

"Oh yeah, Happy birthday Max." A neatly wrapped box flew from the kitchen and into Max's hands. Max's blue and red eyes stared at the box with confusion. It was tiny with a black and white ribbon neatly tied in a bow.

"What are you waiting for? Open it." Paige encouraged, leaning over the side of the couch. Max jumped slightly and gently tore through the paper.

A white pin was gently wrapped carefully by bubble wrap.

"Is this a dove pin?" Max gasped at the expensive price tag. "Crap, you weren't supposed to see that!" Paige quickly ripped off the tag and threw it somewhere across the room, revealing something quite interesting.

"Is that my name on your shoulder?"
