Chapter Eleven

What's His Secret?:

"Please,Come in.",Lord Ivan said as he stepped out of the way revealing his open front door.Me and Aurora walked in to see a luxurious,clean,beautiful house.We both look so shocked and surprised to see a house as beautiful as this in this village.

He walked in behind us,shutting the door.

"Let me show you to your room Aurora.Kia,You can just look around if you like but please dont touch anything",Lord Ivan said as he walked upstairs with Aurora to show her the room shes going to be staying in.

I started walking around and noticed another door.It seemed to be locked for some weird reason.Maybe he's hiding something,Like weapons? Souls? Maybe even dead bodies.

Even though I doubt he's actually hiding those things,You can never judge a book by its cover.

I walked back to the staircase and started walking upstairs."Lord Ivan?",I said as I continued walking around trying to find him.

I looked in every room and every restroom and still couldnt find him.I heard a scream that sounded like it could be a child's voice.I quickly followed the sound of the echoing scream and I started running towards the direction it came from.

I tried opening the door but it was locked.I heard another scream coming out of the room.I looked around my area for something sharp so I can unlock the door.I looked on the table that was in front of the window.It had a knife of some sort laying on the table.I dont think it was a knife you would cook with,It looked like a pocket knife to me.

Of course,Im to young to know how to work a pocket knife so I was struggling to get the knife part of it to come out.After a good 3 minutes of me wasting time figuring out how to work a pocket knife,I finally opened it and tried unlocking it.I twisted the handle and the door opened.

I walked in to see Aurora and Ivan playing a game.It looked like it could be a board game.

They both looked at me to see a worried look on my face.

"Whats wrong Kia?",Lord Ivan said as he stood up and walked up to me.

"So...I thought someone was hurt",I said as I glared at Aurora while she continued to play.

"Hurt? What made you think someone was hurt?",Ivan said.

"I heard a scream",I said as I looked down.

Lord Ivan started to sweat like he knew where the scream was coming from."I didnt hear a scream Kia...But maybe you should go so I can spend time with Aurora,Okay? Bye",Ivan said as he grabbed my arm and pulled me downstairs,through the living room,And out his front door.He shut the door in my face and locked it before I could say anything.

I feel like he's hiding something and its not good.I guess I'll just have to tell Ethan,Bianca,And Gabby.Maybe they'll help me find out what his secret is.

Im sorry for me not publishing Chapters on this story a lot! Ive been focused on my other book called "Standing Breathless",But I promise I will start publishing more for this book.
