Roland Deschain's POV

I've been walking through this desert for months, in search of the man in black.  But never had I expected to see a kid here. I slowly walk up to him, in case he is a threat. But from seeing his injuries, his world must have been visited by the Man in Black. "Who are you and what are you doing here?"

He replied, "I'm Sans," he raises his bony hand for me to shake. "Sans the Skeleton, but you can just call me Time Kid. I ran away. The Sorcerer, he calls himself, chased me from my world and captured my friends."

"What?" Did I hear him right? I shake his hand, precautiously. "Your world was attacked?" He nodded. Another innocent world, ravaged by this Sorcerer. When will he be satisfied?

"I'm here to find this guy, defeat him and get my friends back." Then, on the horizon, a laser fired into the sky, and with it came screams. Screams of agony, but I've gotten used to it. I've heard it enough times. But my young, skeleton friend looked like he was gonna puke. But I realized that where the lazer was fired was the Headquarters, and with the Headquarters, the Man in Black.

"Wait," the kid said. "I think we can get there without having to walk." He points towards a number pad on a podium. How that ended up there, we may never know.

The kid somehow entered the serial numbers for Keystone Earth. How? I'm pretty sure Time Kid here isn't supposed to know what the specific serial numbers are for that world. Is this kid just another one of the Sorcerer's tricks?

But I didn't think about that as I walked through the wormhole over to Keystone Earth. We were inside the kitchen of a Chinese restaurant, the moment we walked through the wormhole. It was empty except for One of the chefs who had this small slit on the side of his neck. A fakeskin. Fakeskins, I call 'em, are spies working for the Man in Black, who help kidnap children and use them as ammunition for the laser cannon they built to destroy the tower.

According to legend, a Tower stands in the middle of the Universe, keeping away the forces of darkness. Some say the mind of a child can bring it down.

But the fakeskin noticed my holstered Iron Revolvers and slowly, calmly walked over to the knife rack and unsheathed a cleaver. When he thought I wasn't noticing, he threw it. But Time Kid reacted.

He simply raised his left hand and the cleaver stopped mid-air, a few inches from his face. When I took a look at him, his left eye was glowing a tinge of blue.

The fakeskin tried to run, seeing the power of the two of us. But he didn't have time to react as the second he took a step, I found that the cleaver he threw at me was already embedded into the center of his face. His face had the look of surprise as he fell to the ground.

Me and the kid simply stepped over the dead body of the fakeskin, and stepped out onto the streets of a city. New York City. I remembered also that the Fakeskins had hideouts all over the city, and I also remembered that there was a hideout near here. I just couldn't remember where.

Though, I saw that TK was crouching at the entrance of an alley. He motioned me to go to the other side. I rolled over to the other side and looked into the alley. I saw the unexpected. The Man in Black was here. I looked to TK and saw an angry look on his face. His world was attacked, and now the Man in Black was here. TK now has a chance to return the favor.

The Man in Black walked inside and left two Fakeskins with pistols to guard. I chuckled. "What's so funny?" TK asked. "Nothing. Just the fact that those Fakeskins over there have pistols." TK looked in the direction of the Fakeskins and laughed, but covered his mouth afterwards. "I get it." TK replies.

"So, you take the one on the left, and I'll take the one on the right?" I asked.

"My pleasure." TK, left eye glowing, snapped his fingers and summoned a row of floating bones. I drew my revolvers and fired first, shooting one Fakeskin dead. Before the other realized it, he was impaled by bones afterwards. We charged towards the door and busted it down. There was no one in that room. No one except the Man in Black. We were silent. I had finally caught up to him. TK, his clock eye still glowing in anger, threw bones at the Sorcerer who caught them mid-flight and threw them to the ground.

It went from a chuckle to a laugh. He rubbed his right eye with his hand, mock crying from laughter,  and said, "You actually thought you could beat me? HAH! How funny." He snapped his fingers, and disappeared.
