"Millie, truth or dare?"
~
Finn instantly got his feet
out of the water
and speedily walked up
to Millie. She smiled at him genuinely."Hi!" Finn cleared his
throat. "Hi." He said in a
deeper voice.
Millie laughed slightly."Hi, Finn."
She said calmly,
"Welcome to my house." He
said laughing in slight awkwardness.
He rubbed the back
of his neck.
Millie broke the silence."So um, are we gonna swim?"
He nodded eagerly.
"Yeah! You look nice
by the way."Millie thanked him. She looked
around the pool
and saw that the group of people
that Finn was talking to earlier, looking at her.
She smiled faintly at the
girl with red hair.
She smiled back wide, getting out pool. The redhead began
walking towards Millie and Finn. They both looked
over at her and Millie waved."Oh, Millie, this is Sadie," he said pointing at her.
"You two will hit it off." She reached
us and she grabbed at
Millie's wrist. Sadie pulled
her away from Finn and over to where the crowd
was lesser. Sadie quickly spoke up."Soooo, you and Finn, huh?"
Millie chuckled a little.
"No, not quite," she said pushing a strand of her silky
hair behind her ear."Hm." Sadie huffed.
"What?" Millie asked curiously.
"That boy is so lonely,
we seriously need him to get
a girlfriend." Millie giggled at Sadies tone
of voice."That bad huh?"
Sadie nodded aggressively, as Millie
let out yet another giggle."Tell you what," Millie said
as she put her hand on Sadie's shoulder,
"We can discuss this more
over brunch Saturday."Sadie smiled. "I would really like that."
Mille smiled and walked out
of the conversation,
going back over to where they had
left Finn.
Millie flashed Finn her charming
smile
and watched as his
eyes filled with
surprise. Millie rolled her cover-up down
her arms and bunched it up, revealing her
glowing skin. She
threw it at Finn and
he surprisingly caught it.
Finn looked down her body and whistled"Okay flirt all you want, Finni,
but I don't like to
be whistled at, I'm not a dog."He nodded right away and placed Millie's
cover up
down on a table with a small
green umbrella
over it. Millie got into the pool and started
Swimming
around in the deep end.
She floated,
splashed,
giggled,
and best of all,
she got to know Finn. She found
out that he like to play electric guitar, and that
he's really good at it.
She learned that
he has a really dry sense of
humor.
He learned,
Millie sang her heart out,
and it was actually singing and not just
screaming to excuse
singing.

Millie tugged at Finns hoodie
as everyone were all
gathered around the bonfire. He turned
to face her and she
admired the look of the fire
in his eyes.
Millie smiled at Finn,"I'm cold, hon." She
exclaimed, pouting
her lips. He smiled at her and
pulled his sweatshirt off over his head.
He placed it into her lap
and she smiled
as a
thanks to him.
Finn nodded and looked back at
the flames of
the bonfire. Millie pulled
herself through it and smelled his
scent. It smelled
like a rainy day,
mixed with
vanilla."Who's up for a round of truth or
dare?"A random guy shouted into the bunch
of people, causing them to
all raise their
hands.
Millie and Finn both looked to
each other."We'll start!" Millie called
out. The
guy who came up with the idea
gave Millie a
thumbs up and Finn spoke."Millie, truth or dare?"
