Steven got up from his bed feeling grogy. He got ready like usual. Steven was feeling down and he didnt know why.
Pearl: steven! Goodmorning!
Steven: *yawn* goodmoring pearl.
He said without looking up from his breakfast bagel he had made.
Pearl had a puzzled look on her face
Pearl: you okay steven?
Steven: yea, yea, im fine.
Pearl: well we have a mission today. Theres a powerfull currupted gem at the broken sea spire.
Steven: cool. When are we going? Im not really hungry anymore.
Pearl: where going right know.
Pearl, amethyst, garnet, and steven all got on the warpad. They got there and started walking around to find the beast. Amethst looked at steven who was looking unenthusiastic. He was usaully excited to go on missions.
Amethyst: you okay dude?
Steven: im fine.
Steven was thinking about how he failed his first mission here. How he could be so stupid. He didnt know why he was thinking this way, but he was. They killed the monster.
Pearl: you wanna bubble it steven?
She was trying to make him feel better. Even though she didnt know what was bothering him.
Steven: sure.
He bubbled it and sent it off.
They went home. Steven spent the evening playing the new video game he got called Save The Light. He went to sleep feeling weidly empty. He stared up at his seeling in confusion.
"Maybe ill feel better tomarrow" steven thought.
