"Mohan I am pregnant" "what do you mean" "Now don't pretend you don't know what pregnant means, you heard me right, I am pregnant and  the baby is yours - I think" "Okay hold on Shanika, I thought we always used protection and you were on the pill" "so does that guarantee I will not get pregnant may be its Raghav's child". He burst out laughing "I believe you when you say you are pregnant, it may or may not be mine but it being Raghav's is the joke of the century so quit trying to be cute and spill it out" "Okay it's not Raghav's that love sick fool will not touch anything that is not though "highness". "So is it mine" "I am not sure but I am going to use it to my advantage" Mohan gave her a disgusting look "Now don't be upset monu darling, we had a mutual understanding your revenge to topple the kingdom for his highness JRS and me to steal the crown prince. In this set up if you have changed your mind and gone soft then I am sorry I am not as generous as you my love. "Yesterday your darling sister and my stupid love lost cousin were at a  private birthday party held exclusively for your sister in a famous hotel pool lobby. Now I do not have to elaborate what it would have looked like but Raghav made sure he blew an impressive six digit sum just to celebrate her birthday with a blue diamond set from a famous jeweller. What is important is not what they spent at the hotel but where or how they spent the night after the party" "what did you do to them Shanika" "Relax baby I am not done yet" but he pushed her aside and looked for the remote. When he switched on the news channel it was all over the channels about their evening out. "You bitch, how could you, this will kill her reputation" "Relax Mohan I did not do anything bad, I only told a little bird that finally the Singhania crown prince has decided to pop the seed of his butlers daughter and whoa and behold the Tabloids went to town and now they are all over the Royal threesome trying to get to the bottom of their story. Mohan sat dumb struck but remembered something "we never planned to get pregnant so why a child now Shanika" "I have always made use of any opportunity given to me. Raghav is my dad's twin sister's son and so he rightfully belongs to me, but your sister had to come and take my place. I would have pushed your sister away but that fool had eyes only for her and his father was an even bigger fool. My parents and I decided that patience is a virtue and if used intelligently you win the game" "so even your parents are a part of this are they" "may be partially but they know I will take Raghav as mine come what may" "I can understand your hate towards Rudhi, but why my parents Shanika that was not the agreement anyways now it is too late I suppose"

She walked away towards the kitchen while Mohan sat staring at the now muted TV screen. He did not see a beautiful well dressed Shanika in front of him. He only saw an ugly vicious woman who would stop at nothing to get what she wanted. He did not want to panic or act in haste as he was entangled in this web and had to think of a way to get out with the least damage to his parents feelings. He saw JRS speaking to the press so he increased the volume "Gentlemen of the press it was a private party and I want it to stay private. Right now I see a storm in a teacup so all I am going to say is a press conference will be held and my guys will let you know the date and time" "does this mean you are okay with sex without marriage" "If I was you, I will remember to draft all questions keeping media ethics in mind young man, just because you belong to a 3rd grade Tabloid don't behave like one" with that he turned around and walked away.

Shanika came back to the sitting area "you did not have any remorse what so ever did you "no why should I, I was waiting for an opportunity for a long time and thought one will never come before their wedding, but they had to rush things and I made use of my chance" "I understand your greed. I also understand your infatuation with Raghav but could you not spare her so she could lead a decent life" "Nothing is fare is love and war. That little goody two shoes spoil t my chance with Raghav and took him all for herself so its only right she suffers too" "The damage is done and nothing I say is going to change a vicious woman like you"

Mohan got up with determination "Where are you going Monu darling" he turned to give her a long look, picked his wallet and walked out of the door. Shanika went up to the window and moved the curtain. She had the most vicious look on her face when he pulled the car out and moved away "Good bye Mohan. Your part in this drama is over darling and I don't need you anymore. Unfortunately I cannot let you live any more either my love. So Goodbye and good riddance" she said all this while walking away from the window. She tapped her finger gently on her baby bump "say goodbye to daddy baby, we don't need him anymore. Its your turn to help mamma get to the Singhania thrown now".
