VERONICAS POV.
I run as fast as I could to run away. from this random person, I take off my high heels, so that the running was at a way better pace. My body was extremely paralysed, and confused of what to do.
I have a thought that was extremely risky. I stop at a corner where there was no one and he stops chasing me. He gradually puts his gun down. Fear was written in my voice as I say "what.. what what do you wanttt?".
"Well your boyfriend, archie or whatever his shitty name is wanted to pass a message saying that he doesn't want you near him because he doesn't want you getting hurt" he says in a smirky way.
I reply with a fierce voice "give him back you douche, I'll do anything for him back." I take a confident pause and than proceed to saying "give him back or this conversation goes to the newspaper".
In a sudden motion he clicks his guns, grips on my neck and pushes me against the scratched painted walls. "if you dare, if you do anything this gun will go through your boyfriends head". He releases me and I pant and pant and pant.
Tears come trickling down my face, as I fall to the ground. He than kicks me with full force on my knee cap. With his guilty looking face he runs away.
I was hurt inside and outside.
When arriving at home I promised myself not to tell anyone what happened to protect the person who I love, even though I was hurt.
"meet me at pops okay" I say to betty through the phone after explaining what had occurred.
Betty puts her hands on top of mine and says quietly "don't worry V, I've got you" she smiles.
After slurping away 4 milkshakes we had come up with a plan was to track down the ip and the place of where the phone call came from. With all the desperation and angst, we had to start this mission now with juggie, Cheryl and Kevin,

Side note:
This chapter is such a slow burn but the next 3 chapters for sure there will be so much more tension and it will be much more intense just hopefully.
i just notice that the I keep changing tenses, it's pretty funny tbh to look back at. well its my first fanfiction and Im not to great in english I have to admit at keeping the tense.
